it sucks , but every team gets bitten by the injury bug at some point . we're going to have to figure out a way to be successful without Mayo , similarly to last year

get healthy fellas . James White/Brandon Bolden and Skinner -- its your time to step up . big .
 
Skinner versus the run should be able to handle his own. out in coverage he's a liability, but so was Jerod. if Hightower and Collins can stay on the field, we should be fine with Skinner. need all three to step up, along with our interior line.

sometimes we gamble too much with depth and let players we know can produce go (Dane Fletcher, Brandon Spikes, LeGarrette Blount, Logan Mankins etc). financially it makes sense , but all it takes is one injury in one of those cores and we're immediately tissue paper thin

I'm with you on your overall point though. They were already thin at LB heading into the year...now with Mayo done and Hightower hurting? Man...

There's a few other spots low on depth too. They can NOT afford to lose Vince at this stage.

But hey...you'd think this would be a nice time to maybe put some of that $14M cap space to use, right?

Short week so they'll just plug and play guys for the Jets game. Then I think they'll re-evaluate once they see what it's like out there.

one positive is that coming off injuries and a short week...at least it's the jets that we got coming to town. we could be on the road or facing top tier team.

jets have no corners. protect TB12 and let the ball fly. defensively...force geno to beat you. sounds simple...never is that simple :lol:
 
Dobbins last good year was his first year in Houston. Dude is washed both mentally and physically. He's more concentrated on finishing building one of his homes than football :lol:

looks like it's going to be a rainy night, fellas. feel like that definitely helps the jets by slowing things down, but we'll see. i see no reason that we can't gut one out in the rain
