Watching it live I thought Brady had no one open and he wanted to run for a small gain but thought better of it.

This dumb *** tuba player runs down the field AGAIN two plays later.

Typical low risk move we've come to love and appreciate from BB  :rolleyes

Nah but really it's a solid move gave up our 6th for what's likely to be a high 7th round pick and got depth at linebacker

I'll take it

It's just like the Sopoaga move last year, if dude ends up contributing significantly it's a steal if not we prolly won't be losing much but a couple spots in the late round depending on how the rest of the season plays out

Chandler Jones missed practice today due to a hip injury – according to league source, it is expected to sideline him about a month- @shalisemyoung

As if we didn't have enough time generating pass rush, and getting down in the trenches when it comes to run blocking, hopefully this isn't true

Right as we go into the toughest stretch of our schedule

The defense as a whole is going to have to step up

Of COURSE we lose C. Jones for a month going into the toughest stretch of the year.

Our pass rush was already mediocre as hell and we needed him to set the edge...**** this crap.

Peyton is gonna have enough time in the pocket to eat all the chicken parms he wants in 2 weeks.

Then Andrew Luck the following game.

Bill's gonna have to cook some **** up so they won't get absolutely gashed vs. the run.

was thinking about that DSK. problem is whenever we face Manning (or Luck), it becomes a "make their running game beat us" type of deal. Indy doesn't scare me as much in that respect, but Denver is going to straight gut us. and no with literally zero pass rush since ninkovich totally **** the bed and turned from an average pass rusher to a pylon...not even sure that plan is going to work. we could have Revis, Sherman, and Haden covering guys...won't matter if there's no pass rush. should be a fun stretch

Question: would you take Peyton or Brady to start an nfl team? Both as rooks. Assuming they follow the same career trajectory.

I'd take Brady in a heartbeat.

And I think they'll actually do well in this next stretch of games.

Brady. He has balls when it matters most. Hate he's not surrounded with talent now like Manning cause this manning > brady thing is killing me lol

Last year in the AFCC our D and pass rush was straight exposed

Peyton sat back there and diced us up, 32/43 400yds 2 tds :smh:

the Broncos arent gutting **** . guys Chandler Jones is a big loss but he isnt EVERYTHING on our defense . we havent lost a game to an AFC opponent at home in 41 games . FOURTY ONE

we may not win , but i refuse to believe we arent going to be competitive

Revis and Chandler Jones were the only Patriots missing from practice yesterday.

We already know about C. Jones...turns out Revis was sent home by Belichick for showing up late.

Revis was asked today and said to "talk to coach" about it...

Hopefully it's a non-issue. Local media is already going ham and it's on ESPN's headlines on the front page...

they (local media) blowing this way out of the water. all Revis said was, "talk to the coach"....as in "not my place to talk about it." not as in, "i'm pissed."

media pisses me off sometimes

Jeff Howe is now reporting that Chandler is out for a min of 6 weeks and is in jeopardy of missing the remainder of the season  :smh:
