Creed (Film Series) | Creed III | 3/3/23

This movie was just...wow.

The training montage, continuous shots during the fights, combined with the Conti themes juxtaposed with trap drums and snares, and cinematography were just pure effervescence.

I appreciated the basic plot because it allowed the complex emotions that the characters were feeling be really salient.

Also all the Nike gear was fire. I'm like I want to rock my tech fleece while working out but it's too expensive for that

I know it's just a Rocky film but movies like these inspire me .

Well said, man. After this movie I wanted to research boxing gyms and get my Rocky on,

Going watch Friday when it's released in the Bahamas..

But all you guys need to listen to the Bill Simmons podcast with Michael b jordan

can't wait to see this movie Friday. I'm actually more excited for the Philly scenes than anything else [emoji]128518[/emoji]

Just watched the "Epix" Documentary on the franchise connecting to Creed. Amazing watch. Sly made Michael B really get punched in the main fight. Don't wanna give too much away but that was dope to read.

He likes people getting hit in his movies. Carl Weathers almost quit Rocky IV because Dolph was roughing him up. Dolph sent Sly to the hospital.

those 6s looked clean.

What Nikes was he training in.

I now he had Jordan trainers in some scenes but those Nikes looked fresh.

Tech fleece'd out.

Nike had him fleeked out lol.

Wanna rewatch this movie man. It was that good

Sequel is def setting up to fight the dude who knocked him out in the gym who was supposed to fight the champ before he broke his jaw at the press conference

Andre Ward? Yeah I thought they were going to have him fight him instead of Tony Bellows (the uk guy). But yeah I def see that happening.

Really enjoyed it. Tessa was looking so damn good the whole movie. Sly and Michael had great chemistry it seemed really authentic. Fight scenes were dope too can easily see a sequel.

Only slight negative to me... His "stair scene" (the bikes) was a bit corny, I gotta be honest. I know why they did it and I recognize the relevance but I don't think it turned out that well. Other than that the movie was great!

Awesome movie. So glad that I went to see it. From a pure boxing perspective this movie was awesome. MBJ put in a Jordanesque performance.

On a side note, Adonis fights more like Rocky than his pops by taking unnecessary punishment rather than working off of his jab and using lateral movement.

Rocky is the only person to train Adonis. Rocky teaching him his style of fighting probably is the reason for that.

But your right, I think they'll switch it up next film.

I figured. Rocky was a great fighter and I'm happy he trained dude. I love how Adonis showed more defense and head movement when he was training himself [emoji]128514[/emoji][emoji]128514[/emoji][emoji]128514[/emoji]. My dude Rock was great in this movie.
