i was trying this past sunday using the directv webpage.. i think the website was down.. and it kept tellin me, my device didnt support the flash? i was tryna open it on a Note2

did alil reading.. i think its cause my chrome browser didnt support flash.. i installed firefox and will try it again this sunday!

Anyone try syncing the chromecast with slingbox? I'm on travel so I cancelled my cable and I've been using a slingbox at my friend's house. I was wondering if I can stream the slingbox from my laptop to a tv.

Quick question for anyone with an iPad or iPhone:
Has anyone been able to connect to their chromecast using Songza (the app)? I've updates everything and all other apps work but Songza doesn't even have the option to cast to the TV. In specifically using the iPad app. iPhone app works fine with the cast in the upper right but nothing shows up on the iPad.

I have this setup running on my macbook pro with a 15ft HDMI. After like 30-45 minutes of streaming it starts to lag bad, even if the video is fully loaded. I did the "unlimited buffer" trick and it still happens. you know anyway to solve this? I have a 240GB SSD and 8 Gigs of Ram so I doubt its my specs. I think the cache is just filling up.

Just got Chromecast couple days ago (use it with iPhone mostly) I also have Apple TV. I'm fairly pleased with it so far.

it has to be the processor or some services that is running on your macbook taking up some resources. i haven't had any lag after watching 720p vids via xbmc. TIP of the day....please please please....download SHOWBOX and VideoMix for your android box. mind blown.

WDTV plays everything natively no conversion necessary.
I have a pi collecting dust. Its slow and has issues with certain formats.
