Jordan CP3 VII

Who wears Nike elite socks while playing in these?

Just broke out my pair for the first time and my feet got LIT up.  Haven't felt that hot since the T-Mac III's.  Also had some trouble dialing them in, but it was only the first wear.  I'm gonna try some NBA socks next time.

Yeah I wouldn't wear elite socks with these. The ventilation really sucks even tho it has all those suppose vents on the sides. Air is really only coming out at the top part if you look at it. I remember my foot stank the first wear. They look big but they fit real TTS tight.

+1 here.  I had issues with these and elite socks.  Went back to my NBA and was solid

Thanks guys.

Took a game to get used to the court feel.  Felt a little off balance at first, but not in a really bad way.  Just the cushioning setup is a bit atypical.

Quick question, been ballin' in VI AE, does the VII feel as free as the AE even though they seem like the VII's looks more like a mid?

the vi ae gives you better freedom of movemt, but i wouldn't say the vii are restrictive by any means. the biggest difference of the two would be the cushioning. i like the zoom met bag of vii, while i like the overall fit and lockdown of the vi ae.

If anyone finds a pair of jordan cp3 vii bel airs in a sz 13 for 125 or less pleeeeeaase link me because I can find sizes 9-12s for around 95 dollars but I can't find a sz 13 anywhere I've even tried eBay with no luckView media item 872287

I play in Elite socks with my VIIs, and don't have any more of an issue than with any other basketball shoes... I mean Elite socks are fairly thick by nature so I always find them a bit hot after, but I like them otherwise.

I should have been more specific.  Only the bottom of my feet got hot, probably because of too much sliding and friction.  Like when you rub your bare feet on carpet really fast.  Everything else was fine.

Hi Everyone,

I got a pair of the Bel-Air CP3.VII's about three months ago and have been experiencing foot pains around the ball of my foot when playing. At times I can feel some responsiveness from the zoom bag, but for the most the shoe starts digging into my foot when i play. The fit is good, with barely any dead space, and from my feel the zoom units and intact. Has anyone else experienced similar pains with the shoe? I would love to be able to resolve this issue.
Has anyone popped their zoom bag in the main hexagonal unit? I believe that the unit of one of my shoes has popped leading to the foot pains that I have experienced in the above quote. Is there any real way to tell if the air bag is popped?

Would probably compress more push down the hexagon there should be a considerable difference. But I could see how it could bother your toe since it's more elevated out of the pods it's the first toe that will dissipate force that leads to bigtoe/metatarsal sore ness

Yeah When i compress the hexagonal unit down, it does compress pretty easily so it really did pop.  Thanks for the the info!

It should be really obvious if you popped it.  You probably didn't.  Met bags like that seem like they would be really hard to pop.

I have the same thing happening in my pair, I get some discomfort if I play in them for a long time, right under the balls of my feet.  Part of it is the bag placement, but part of it is just my foot moving around in them.  I'm going to try some extra thick socks to see if it will keep my feet more stable.

I dig the shoes a lot though, the traction is right up there with the VI in my opinion and the base is much more natural.  A better overall shoe so far, but I haven't played in the VI AE.

I really wonder where they will go from here...if they are going to discontinue the external pods I might stock up.

Personally I haven't balled in last years AE but that traction looks beast

The VI traction is one of the standards for traction in my book.

If I liked the fit and transition a bit more, I would have kept mine.  If you look at Chris Paul, he's always probing, circling, driving and kicking...basically what a pure point guard should do.  The VI provides an excellent, stable base for that, so I loved them in half-court sets, but my style is to run all out and beat guys down court, which is not really what CP3 does.  The VII is much better for me overall.

It's a good shoe there hasn't been much difference aesthetically in his line but the small improvements are great.

The ae model will probably just be a full fuse/synthetic model to cut weight.
I don't see tech changing for it.

One thing about the shoe is, that hexagonal met bag still feels weird. The shoe has better potential, personally I feel like it's missing something but can't pin point it.

Shoe has broken in alot more over the course of the week, overall it the pods make it a more fluid performer and i love how it transitions.

The hexagon is def a unique aspect of the shoe def makes or breaks it.

I love that i use a more distinguished toe off in them and i have come to really like the darn thing.

Overall shoe has come along way from initial runs, my pair was very very stiff initially.

New colorway up on FTL and AEs have hit the bay

I'm really feeling the AEs. I know a lot of y'all don't like the exposed flywire I however like the webbing pattern and the overall subtle changes and execution. Can't wait to see what other colorways come out.
i guess JB is jumping on the rainbow loom fad.
