OFFICIAL: Nike Zoom Kobe III Post. MVP SHOE DONE..USA MAYBE?

So the "Lakers Edition" ZKIII is not releasing to the genaral public? Why is it Nike can release all the uniform colors for Lebron. But theycan't do the same for the best player in the game KOBE?

Yeah Lebron 5's have nice cushioning, but they aren't as flexible and comfortable right out of the box and the ankle feels wayyyyy too locked down.I've given up on the Lebron line. 1 and 2 were so nice and then 3 was a little bulky and high off the ground. 4 was amazing but the weight was incredibleand the 5 just was an overall dissapointment from a design AND performance standpoint. The Kobe III may look like crap but it is the best basketball shoe in MYopinion.

What do you like so much about the Bron III?

That's all I saw at the Ross out here in Grapevine, TX. That shirt is a XXL, and it is HUGE, but worth it.

here's another heads up, the duke zkIII will be avail to duke players.... all jokes aside how bout a regional release to show us socal fans some love so wewon't have to come 250+ out of pocket to get these coloways, especially a LAKER colorway overseas.

Thanks vulkan for the info! much appreciated... just wish nike quit with the china exclusives. at least have an online release for the lower merion zkIII.

I agree that they should be doing more for California as a region, or at least Southern Cal. If they don't want to push Kobe's shoes a lot nationwide,they should at least do it in SoCal.

Releasing a new color on KB24.com is another way to do it, though. I just have a feeling there won't be a big enough quantity for all of the fans.
 
i wanted to cop off kb24.com to have a chance to get the signed kobe shoes

but no shipping to Canada

went to the champs website, but shipping was another $10 plus another $31 international surcharge...wow $175 after everything

So I drove down to seattle, caught a sonics game, got kd to sign my kd shoe and then copped the kobes mpls

May just cop for the hell of it although I'd prefer the China's instead.

I agree with Bolt55, Nike needs to hook us SoCal peeps up with an exclusive Laker colorway. Don't know why Asia is always getting the dope stuff.
 
I just got a response from Eric (KB24.com) and it looks like the SL's will release on May 1st. Not the purple toe's.


I'm confused.

do you mean Lebron V's or Kobe III's, the only thing i liked about the Kobe 3's are the shoe being so light, other than that i didn'tlike how the comfort wasnt the best, compared 2 the lebrons, i dont really like the whole "low to the ground thing", im 5'9 and can dunk, YES CANDUNK and i dont really like shoes dats so low, it doesn't affect my jumping ability, but im not a fan of it.

the Lebron's really make you feel that zoom air on impact, the kobes were more like

Yeah I guess coming down from dunking being under 6ft would make the cushioning different for you, but in general the Kobe would be the better overallbasketball shoe IMO.
