That's definitely a negative. If you know the full story Bowe Bergdahl is way past guilty and worse yet put other troops that were looking for him in harms way.

That angle would only work for Bowe if he actually was diasgnoised with having mental issues. Besides, Bowe actions were selfish and only benefited him. Where as one could say that Manning would looking out for justice and the "betterment" of others.
