Bald NTers Enter vol. I'm joining the ranks

Had to throw on that Sleepy Brown




Bout another 24 hours and I'll be rockin the chrome dome. Saturday prolly hitting the trail to run and tan my head.
 
I need a nice moisturizer for my head. I have keloid bumps on my head from shaving and barbers, but I'd still like my scalp to be moisturized. I'll check out some of the products listed above.
 
i've been shaving my head since 2007. at first it was a lot of effort and work but once you get used to it, it adds an extra 5-10 minutes to getting ready, not a huge deal at all. chicks wise, it's fine. there will always be chicks that want a dude with long hair, but you'll be surprised how many like a shaved head or how many don't care. do it with some type of facial hair and you're golden.

and i recommend using the headblade. i still use a normal razor to get around the ears and sideburns...but the headblade is awesome.

for the clippers users, how often do you cut your hair?

as a previous post of mine i am thinning as well, and bought a pair of Wahls and cut it w/o a guard...looks good but the sides grow quick...is every few days normal?

Im happily bald... BY CHOICE..

It's cheaper to maintain on the road and cost effective. I use Gillette Fusion.. They get really close, no cuts, and leaves my dome smooth for that aero dynamic feel when im running on the court.

Man I have a lumpy head... bald would be no bueno for me. Fortunately there's not a balding guy in my family so I should be fine.
 
you guys dont have to go completely bald, just keep it super low on some kobe steeze, or to the stubble and scruffy beard on the jason statham swag. chicks love that dude. if you can develop an english accent, even better. transporter of the yambs.
 
Man....I am taking notes. I doubt I will go to the scalp but I have to shave my head soon. I fade my hair on the side 2 times a week practically cause the side of my hair can be thicker then the top but the top of my hair is thinning like crazy and it's starting to look really bad. Even burned the top of my head in the sun the other day.
 
those of you shaving with clippers...you'll be surprised how you'll get the urge to go shorter and shorter once you keep doing it for a while. you'll be shaving to the skin soon :lol:

i don't anymore...but back when i did, it was every three days or so. i use a t-liner to do my beard cause i just want really short stubble, so anytime i'd do my face, i'd do my head too. but now i use a razor and shave to the scalp on my head.
 
Barber got my **** looking like it never even started receding, he earns his tip. But i'm 30 now, hope it doesn't escalate to ya'lls level (knock on wood) but i'm good if it does. Ya'll cryin already at 23, damn.

gotcha thanks just wasnt sure if every few days was good or not...my sides grow pretty fast and you can tell the thinning every few days when the lighter spots are more visible

yeah if that's the case you can always touch the sides up whenever you need to. it's up to you really...if you have the time to do every day or every other day...go for it.
 
I've been shaving my head since I was like 16. Being Latino its both a blessing and a curse. The ladies love bald headed Latin players on some Pitbull type steez lol but I've been run up on hella times asking what I bang(a northern Cali thing I guess). I hit my head with the clippers tho keep the stubble on the dome but hit it with the razor when it's really hot.


Just a tip if your gonna shave your head facial hair is a MUST it aint even a question unless your trying to be on some ET pasty, egghead , cancer patient type swagger. Keep the goatee or the bossy beard year round. :smokin

If I have to I can go bald. Proabably get a caesar as a warm up. :lol: Currently my edges are getting thinner. So soon I will be 'bout that life.

I have like a huge sloped forehead and I swear the side of my head is not flat and has lumps. I want to say I have the Rock's head but even I won't give myself that much credit. I know I am going to look like a straight alien by the end of it.

Best thing to do is just not shave it for a while. Let it grow. My little brother has a similar issue. It might be scraggly for a while but just don't touch it. Then when you get to where it's decent trim it. I'm the exact opposite. I can grow a full beard in basically ten days. It's annoying.

im trying it now havent shaved in like 5 days and my lord is it itchy...any creams/lotions/oitments to help alleviate the itch?

Just gotta roll with the itchy phase. It sucks. Moisturize so it doesn't feel dry though.
