Bald NTers Enter vol. I'm joining the ranks

those of you shaving with clippers...you'll be surprised how you'll get the urge to go shorter and shorter once you keep doing it for a while. you'll be shaving to the skin soon

I've got this feeling right now, i've been shaving my head with clippers with no clip and it gets really close to having no hair at all since i'm also going bald. I've been on the fence about shaving to the skin but i haven't done it yet. When i started shaving my head i was using a clip and kept getting shorter and shorter and decided to just shave it with no clip which is where i'm at right now. I used to have a goatee with the stubble look up top but now that i'm in the military i have to be clean shaven.

im trying it now havent shaved in like 5 days and my lord is it itchy...any creams/lotions/oitments to help alleviate the itch?
Castor Oil, olive oil, or Argan Oil for the beard. Grow it out for about 8 weeks untouched only trimming the neckline

Best thing to do is just not shave it for a while. Let it grow. My little brother has a similar issue. It might be scraggly for a while but just don't touch it. Then when you get to where it's decent trim it. I'm the exact opposite. I can grow a full beard in basically ten days. It's annoying.

The gift and a curse of facial hair. Some people have none and others have too much. I wish I had full stuble all around my face. Asian facial hair is the worst. Doesn't grow thick and it's very wirey.

The problem with bald and facial hair is that mf'ers think you grow the facial hair solely because you're trying to make up for what's not on your head. Let me cook!!! I change it up all the time. Goatee, handlebars, 5 o'clock shadow and clean shaven stay in my rotation.

Not sure if I'll ever bic my dome. I no guard it right now. My girl like it at about a 10-14 days length even with the horseshoe showing like a mug. Rock the baldy with pride fellas!!!

It's definitely a curse. My hair is spiky when it grows in too, so it's extra itchy.

I can't grow a full goatee to save my life  I already got the baldy but I need that full goatee to make the cycle complete. I'm dark skinned so I'm tryna go for the whole Morris Chestnut feature. I read in an article about Zinc deficiencies in ppl w/ sickle cell. I have the trait so I figure I'd pop some Zinc to help me get the full dip I want

Alright I gotta ask, If my father is bald, what are the chances I will be?

Find out if on your father side when their hair started thinning and also check your moms side... My dad is bald by choice now and his hair gene is recessive while my mothers is dominant
I got ****** both times
Started getting grey hair at 15
Balding by 23
I laugh about it now because as a baby up until sophomore year of high school I had waves but not anymore
My girl is concern if we have kids what will happen because she has hair down to her *** lol

Im 21 and thankfully my hair is still going strong. However Im growing grey hairs in random spots

.

Save me a spot on the bald roster though. I promised myself I would never go through the awkward balding phase. As soon as it starts to thin like crazy, I'm taking the plunge into baldness

Don't know what girls yall meeting that "dig " the baldy but nevertheless I commend your strength.

I'm 20 going on 21 in a few days and I've noticed since highschool that my hair on the crown of my head was thinning a bit. After I graduated highschool and started my first semester in college the thinning wasn't bad at all.........3 years later huge bald spot on my head. I blame it mostly on hereditary traits and then on wave care products, I honestly think those chemicals play a huge role in balding smh. I was so afraid to shave my head and wore hats nearly everyday till I said **** it and bought a pair of clippers and shaved it off by myself. Thought it was going to look bad but it looks great! I don't regret being bald plus the clippers I use give me that Shane Battier bald so my head don't look shiny and **** when I put on grease. OP check this vid out and buy the same exact clippers in the video from Sally's, you will not be disappointed.

Oh yea and I sometimes keep a full beard or just shave it down to a thin mustache and goatee............just wish I wasn't bald at such a young age, I'm not tripping though, still getting yambs, yambs love bald heads word to Jayhood23. Just keep a nice fit and your hygiene up it aint no problem being bald and getting yambs.

I shaved my head bald a few times in the summer. Guess my razors never cut close enough because i'd have a little bit of stubble and my shirts would cling to my head when I took them off.

I'll be joining the bald rank soon. The beard is already grown, I just chicken out whenever I go get a cut to go full baldy.

I shaved my head bald by choice 10 years ago and never have gone back to having to deal with a barbershop.

1. Place a warm towel on your head for 5 minutes.

2. Make contact with your scalp, pull the razor gently, and let the razor glide. Don't press down.
Shave the top, sides, and back in the same direction as the grain of your hair.
Don't go over the same spot more than 2X to avoid irritation.

3. Use a moisturizing aftershave lotion.

I went ahead and cut it all off last night. Ended up with a couple nicks and it took me like 15-20 mins, but other than that I didn't run into any issues. I'm happy with the results. My hair grows slow so I probably won't shave for another 3-5 days. Good look on the product recommendations!
