What a bizarre chain of events...

I mean, how do you even begin to explain sending off the wrong guy...

Luiz is determined to get a goal today. There will be no passes from him.

Ivanovic knows Carthorla isn't great at tracking back...

Expect to see Ivanovic getting forward often....

On a side note...that "Specialist in Failure" comment must be REALLY stinging now...

I agree. It was upsetting, sad, hilarious and slightly rascist at the same time. Incredible, just incredible.

Every time Chelsea press forward, they look as though they could genuinely score....

Scary 45+ left for Arsenal.

Give Salah some shine in the second half.

Might watch something else though either way.

I was genuinely hoping Demba would get some time...But I'd like to see Salah....

Oscar with another....made by Torres.

Yeah Ba has been the forgotten man in all this, feel bad for him because he was solid last season.

After seeing him put away 2 in a game recently, I thought it was proven he was hungry enough, and skilled enough to deserve some playing time.

He needs to look for a move in the summer.

Would love to see him at a Spurs/Everton/Liverpool if Suarez leaves.

"I thought we played well today... but were just incredibly unlucky with the sending-off..."

If this was FIFA, Arsenal would have to hit pause and hand over the sticks to the next person in line...

He originally wanted to go to Arsenal but Jose wasn't having that. I do think he'd shine at Everton though.

Crazy game.

I wonder what happens if/when that red gets rescinded, surely someone still has to get the ban (presumably Oxlade-Chamberlain)

Nope. FA doesn't allow retroactive punishment because it makes the refs look bad. As if they don't already do that on their own.

According to the former ref that was just talking on iTV....Arsenal can appeal, and the red card will be shifted to Oxlade. Gibbs will have it stricken from his record and he will be eligible for the next match.

The former ref was saying it's actually in the FA guidelines.

NBCSports said the same thing at the half.

WHY DOES TORRES ALWAYS HAVE TO TAKE THAT EXTRA DRIBBLE. SO HESISTANT!
