Drunk at work....

Went to work drunk/hung over yesterday. Snuck off to the bathroom stall, sat on a toilet, and passed out for about 45 mins. :smh:

Used to go to work drunk at least twice a week for 3 months, but that was working at a casino in Vegas from 3a-11a.  Took naps on my lunch breaks every time, and fell asleep while counting cash a few times.  Came in to work with my asian glow, co-workers thought i was sunburned, but healed by the end of the shift.

When I worked at a call center I worked second shift. I used to put drink in my spill proof cup and be good by the time I got off at 11:30.

As for coming to work still drunk...well let's just say happy hour + clocking in a 7am the next day usually doesn't work out well.

I remember my boy came to work hungover. Son was gone, couldn't do a damn thing and left after like 2 hours. Boss didn't really trip.

When we were 15 maybe, my boy worked at McDonald's. There was a basketball game at school or something and my friend gets blasted. After game was over, he got the bright idea to go get food. He goes to McDonald's barely standing, proceeds to the grill and starts making himself food - in timbs, a jersey, and jeans. Needless to say, he was fired IMMEDIATELY. They ended up rehiring him so I guess it worked out.

I was 21 and working at Wal-Mart with a couple friends. Wal-Mart always has black Friday sales and I was scheduled to be there at 4am. So it being thanksgiving night and I just finished dinner at 9pm, I decided to go party with the Kappas. Long story short, went to 2-3 different parties, got drunk beyond belief, stumbled into my boy's crib at 3am, got up still drunk at 5:30 and went to work. I don't think I made it 2 hours before I fell asleep in the stockroom.

used to work in a sandwich shop in college, ended up getting hammered the night before i had to open the shop by 10, suppose to get there around 9.

arrived at work at 10 took a nap and opened around 11. felt like crap the whole time. while helping a customer i felt that sensation that i'm about to vomit.

body temperature rising, little sweat beads leaking off my forehead damn near dripping on the sandiwch. i excuse myself as if i need some dressing or something from the back.

throw up in a trash can. go back and finish his sandwich. happened like 3 more times throughout the day, threw up bile

Only got drunk at work once at my last job.  Christmas day of 2011.  I was working in the Dietary department at a hospital.  Me and another dude went out to my car and pounded styrofoam cups of Red Bull and vodka and smoked a bowl on our 30 minute break.  I was kicked off the tray line at lunch about 10 trays in.

Supervisor made a cook take over for me and I had to do extra cleaning for the rest of the day.  The perks of having a cool supervisor and boss.

When I worked retail in high school I never went to work sober.  Never really drank, but would burn some before I went in and on all of my breaks.  I miss being young.

I work at the YMCA at my school and have come in extremely hungover several times when I have to open on Saturdays and Sundays. A couple times I would get these angry *** calls from my boss asking why the y isn't openon time

One time I was so drunk the night before that when I came in i reeked of beer and Henny sweating my *** off and burping. Just my luck someone from the community came in for a tour :smh: . As I'm walking her around I feel the sensation of vomit coming on. Had to excuse myself to run in the bathroom but tried to do it casually. Came out the bathroom, eyes were blood shot and continued the tour. **** sucked man but I held my own. After she left, I proceeded to sleep at the front desk until someone else came in.

Also when I worked at target doing stock, me and a couple co-workers would bring in vodka and put it in water bottles and drink it over the breaks and before the store opened. Had me buzzing at 6 in the morning . There was one time that my favorite sexy supervisor and HR director pulled me into an aisle and asked me to fill something out and place it in her "box". As soon as she said "put it in my box" I chuckled and said excuse me. She repeated it and I cracked this smirk and my co-worker started rooolllin. Once that happened I couldn't hold in my laughter anymore and just laughed in her face. She mugged the **** out of me and walked off with us just sitting there laughing in the aisle. Coulda lost my job man :smh: x

started cooking his own food in street clothes ... hahaha classic!

my boy just got his third DUI and my other homie lost his job the next day

drinking on workdays FTL

Going to work drunk always has been and will always been stupid. You sound young doing this mess. Take the next day off man, or control yourself while you're out. Is that so hard to do?

haha yea luckily i work in an office setting, sitting in front of a comp all day...

I do the same

Day after Heat game 7 i woke up gone. Hurried around got ready and rushed to work. Got here and realized i looked like a mess and had my yearly review with management. Worked in my favor big time, went in all smiles and so casual and talkative. That was around 11am. By 1pm i was hungover n thoyght i was near death. Took what felt like 24 hours to get to 5pm, raced home n went to bed. Slept all the way until the very next morning

Was real hung over the other day. Boss heard me puking outside the bathroom. He said looks like my BBQ was fun the day before.

I think coming to work hungover/drunk is one of those things we will all experience throughout our lifetimes throughout our careers. I always wondered in college, "how do all these working people go out on thursday nights to clubs and go to work next day? Do these people not have jobs?" Then after I started working, Thursday nights = party nights.

Went clubbing in Ktown and continued the drinking till around 3:30am. Had some pho at 6am and wore the exact same clothes I wore to clubbing straight to work. One of the worst feelings ever just sitting at work glaring at the computer and wanting to throw up. Luckily, there was a taco truck that rolls by around 8am so killed a breakfast burrito and felt a little better but damn, weekday drinking nights are tough now.

many days struggling with hangovers but one stands out

I was out drinking Henny and smoking mj all night and ended at strip club (Arnies)

went to work feeling like sugar honey ice tea and threw up in the bathroom like the puppet on crank yankers. after that I just counted down to quitting time

I showed up to my last job just a few times hungover &/or still buzzing. Worked in a pharmacy though, so those bright lights were my worst enemy on those Sunday mornings. Thankfully I was never so far gone that I couldn't count money correctly and I got close to correct on the pill counts. I could only do that Saturday nights cuz Sundays were quiet. I'd sit, type about 50 scripts (between me and the pharmacist), then throw up on my break and nap.

At my current job, the guys are always drinking on breaks.

The people of this planet continue to disappoint and show how low they can get.

Show some responsibility and self control. If you have to work the next day or in cases here, a few hours later, DON'T DRINK.

I don't need some co-worker coming to work tanked and putting my career and life on the line because they're too irresponsible to make the choice to not get drunk or high.

There is absolutely no excuse.

Shame on any of you who have done this.

I just walk into my office, close and lock the door, and work in complete silence. Usually by lunch time I am alright to go. lol

In the summers, Wednesdays are horrible. Tuesday nights at Bar A are insane.

Then in the winter time we usually do thirsty Thursdays. Friday's are horrible. Then by Friday night I am good to go to go HAM. lol

This is exactly why coming to work drunk/hangover every now and then is okay..

You really seem as if you need to unwind bruh.

Your attitude needs to be adjusted. If you feel that is okay then you're plain and simple a fool. How dare you say it's okay to subject other people to having to cover for your stupid decisions and put their jobs or even lives at risk.

Most people don't sit at a desk and do nothing. People like myself that work with heavy and dangerous equipment can't have people coming in under the influence of anything. We're not even allowed to be under the influence of medication that makes you drowsy while subject to going to work.

In my career so far a guy showed up to work and he was immediately fired. It doesn't happen too often anymore because most people know how serious the implications of being under the influence in my line of work is.

Like the one guy said previously, if management catches you drunk on their time you deserve to be fired. Plain and simple. There is a time and a place to get drunk and that time or place is not at work.
