Don't believe I've ever heard Rex criticize Sanchez publicly, and I believe Geno ankle is still hurt. Not good @ all.

He's too honest. When I heard it I knew what he meant but of course the media jumped on it. This is the road to him being shown the door I think.

Crazy to me how he'd rip Geno so hard after failing to ever acknowledge Sanchez has done anything wrong

yeah that too, clearly something is going on. There might be a rift between him and Idzik. If this keeps up they'd have ruined 2 QB's no bueno

When Sanchez injured his knee after failing to slide properly.

Rex was heated and sounded off. Didn't sugar coat nothing.

I think he did that simply to put are this talk of a "QB competition" to rest. I just don't think that they'll allow Mark to lose this competition unless Geno is light years better than him. I mean Marty's play calling when Geno is playing makes a statement within itself. Marty even said when Geno came in he was calling plays to look at "other guys", instead of calling plays to look at Geno. Mark is starting tonight against the Jags and I think that's a sign that Geno won't be starting opening this season.

why would you keep your starting qb in the game well into the 3rd qtr? probably not a good idea rex
