THEE OFFICIAL MIAMI DOLPHINS SEASON THREAD (8-8) NEXT: OFF-SEASON

It's not even a debate, he has no idea what the **** he's even talkin about. He just rambles.

Ask him about the pass to Wallace at the end of the Carolina game, ask him to explain what he "saw". It will amuse you.

 Your ego will be the end of you, I swear. My goodness, too funny.

Deadset, any decade now your boy is going to break down, when that happens  :smh:

i'm dreading that day, i swear. i know we will be kicking off the era of "**** my life" with regard to the NE quarterback situation in the next 5 years

Man I'm sure many in this thread can relate when ol' #13 started breaking down and the best we've had since is Fiedler

Over Wilson, Yes. Luck, No.

I like Wilson's game but I'm not a huge fan of his deep ball, also he has Lynch and a damn good Line. If you switch Tanny and Wilson I believe Tanny is even more successful... I think your head would explode if Wilson was on our team because he wouldn't be doing as well.

 Hoping you're watching tonight brudda. It's not even close. Tannehill never looks this good in a game.

Tannehill never has Lynch, Pete Carroll, that defense or that crowd either, but hey.

Tannehill did beat Wilson tho. But that won't matter of course.

Well you can't have it all. Why don't we have these elements? I wanted to draft Earl Thomas, we botched that draft. The GM had the chance to build a defense like that, and botched it. GM counted on Miller and Daniel freakin Thomas. GM drafted this QB with the 8th pick, was Wilson drafted in the first 7 spots or did I miss it?

Yes, and that's totally Ryan's fault his GM makes mistakes.

Yet you've spent this whole year blaming the QB.

Cuz, you're you.

Russ would totally be this good with our roster and coaching, you genius you.

http://miamiherald.typepad.com/dolp...dolphins-vs-jets-pff-and-salguero-review.html

Ryan Tannehill was 0-for-4 on passes 20+ yards down the field, as he did not need to go deep to beat the Jets. He was, however, 7-of-8 on passes that went 10-19 yards.

Salguero: Tannehill missed an open Brian Hartline deep down the left sideline. It would have been a TD. This QB's inability to connect deep is no longer a coincidence. It is a fact we've seen time and again over two seasons now.

Yep, typical finns and his lack of intelligence.

He reads this

Ryan Tannehill was 0-for-4 on passes 20+ yards down the field

and that's where it ends for him. He reads nothing else, sees nothing else, understands nothing else. Just that.

He was, however, 7-of-8 on passes that went 10-19 yards.
went 8-for-11 for 134 yards when the Jets sent pressure.

Absolutely brilliant on intermediate throws and when the Jets blitzed him, but finns only reads

Ryan Tannehill was 0-for-4 on passes 20+ yards down the field

So he cries, as usual.

Tannehill goes for over 300 yards back to back weeks against the Carolina and New York Jets defense, all he sees is

Ryan Tannehill was 0-for-4 on passes 20+ yards down the field

Jets defense befuddles Drew Brees, Tannehill shreds them

Ryan Tannehill was 0-for-4 on passes 20+ yards down the field

That's what a small mind does. Focus on only one thing, and one thing only, have absolutely no analyzing of any sort elsewhere.

But but but, Russell Wilson, Russell Wilson guys!!!!!!

Yes, because if Russell Wilson was here in Miami with Joe Philbin and Mike Sherman, and this oline, and this run game, and our defense that enjoys giving up 3rd and 22's, Russell Wilson would be just as good as he is in Seattle.

Yeah.....

Wouldn't expect anything different from your homer #@!. I guess the misfire to Hartline on the deep ball, which negated 6 points, was one of these excuses

His 2nd year

Bu bu but, it's everyone else's fault

He'll connect consistently on deep passes once the receivers are wide open in the middle of the field

Because Tannehill

Honestly the excuses are tired. You leave out that he consistently misfires on deep passes. You refuse to discuss that his deep balls have been underthrown constantly. Doesn't matter if Hartline is open deep, Wallace, or who ever. It's nothing more than you having the blinders on. That's your agenda.

Jets pass defense is pathetic, LOL at you holding them to some high regard. Cromartie is running on a bad hip out there, Ed Reed is a fossil, and Dee is a bum. But guys, the Saints! The same Saints that Tannehill bummed it up against but Geno beat them? Stop flip flopping

I'll repost this maybe it'll sink in:
Salguero: Tannehill missed an open Brian Hartline deep down the left sideline. It would have been a TD. This QB's inability to connect deep is no longer a coincidence. It is a fact we've seen time and again over two seasons now.

It's like talkin to a 3rd grader.

"he can't throw the deep ball, oh noezzzzzzzzzz"

Chad Pennington can't throw the deep ball either, and all you do is slob about that dude. Difference is Ryan actually can get the ball down field 65 yards. He needs to work on his timing with the deep ball, no question, and hopefully they work really hard on that in the offseason.

But again, you focus on ONE area he can't manage yet, and ignore everything else he does well. In typical finns fashion.

Just like the 700 examples JD pointed out of you runnin your mouth without actually knowing what you're talkin about. This is just another example.

Again, why don't you tell us about that throw at the end of the Carolina game, when he put the ball out 64 yards and hit Wallace on the hands, but Wallace was out there twisting and turning in the wind and couldn't locate it properly. Tell me how that was on Ryan, please, draw us a picture.
Make sure to bring up how he led Wallace from the right hash to the left hash, but did not throw to the pylon because a defender was coming underneath on that side so the throw had to be up the field on the hash. Please, remember to explain that with your wisdom on Ryan's deep balls.

And also mention how the ball hit Wallace on BOTH hands, 64 yards down field, while being hit.

Oh but wait, that's only one example. And we don't want to use just one example now do we?

Clearly, he has something he'll need to work on in time. Good thing his career isn't over after 28 games and he has time left in his career to actually work on things. Oh but wait, you demand perfection immediately, within a QB's first 20 games, I forgot, how foolish of me. :smh:

Grow a brain dude.

I love how you try to single me out like no one else is saying this stuff. Dude, wake up! Everyone is saying this stuff!

You are the typical guy who falls in love with a pick, and chooses to see everything about him with rose colored glasses. If Rich Gannon says something during the telecast about Ryan's issues, "Rich is an idiot". Bill Cowher echoed those sentiments on CBS Sunday, meh Cowher is an idiot. PFF presents the facts, I guess PFF employs a bunch of idiots. If someone disagrees with CP, they're idiots.

No, see they actually have clues, you, do not.

YOU make stupid *** comparisons and then think those matter. Ryan sucks, he can't throw deep!!!!!!

Stephen Morris can throw one of the best deep balls in all of college football, absolute thing of beauty. That dude can't throw the ball 8 yards into the middle of the field. 58 yards, ok, 8 yards, no way.

But hey, finns wants the deep ball, so maybe you'd like him as our QB.

Ryan Tannehill sucks because he can't get us to the playoffs his rookie year, Luck, Wilson, RGIII did, THEY are franchise QB's, Tannehill isn't, because he didn't do what they did.

Pennington doesn't turn the ball over, so he's great, Tannehill bites.

Those are the comparisons you make. Those are statements you've said. YOU have no ******g clue what you're talkin about.

Cowher says something, what was it? What was it finns? That Ryan was mechanical. Ok? So then you hope that he can work on that and become less mechanical. And?

Rich Gannon  You must have missed the 500,000 Dolphin fans that were askin why Gannon hates us so much, he was all over the Dolphins last week, and he's been known to say **** about us. (no idea why on that one honestly)

The point is, you people are gunning for a dude not even two seasons in. Iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii, did not want Tannehill. I've said this 100 times. But we took him, now we got see what he's got, we invested in him, give him the tools, and hope he can grow into something. At this point, he is growing. Completion % up, yards per game, up, TD's, up, QB rating, up WHAT IN THE **** DO YOU PEOPLE WANT FROM THE MAN?

Jesus Christ. Everything is up, and we want MORE up.   You guys are freakin stupid for the way you demand ****. Sit the hell back, and let the damn guy learn. If all his numbers were DOWN, then I could see the panic. They aren't down.

Cam Newton last year struggled like hell. Should the Panthers have given up? Did Cam not improve this year?

Demanding a new QB 20+ games into a QB's career is one of the dumbest things I have ever seen from a fanbase. Seriously, people need to check themselves and understand what they are watching.

And check your definitions too. How the hell can I be a homer when I am speaking on one damn player? You see me hyping Philbin, Sherman, the oline, the TE's, the WR's, the defense, or you see me being critical of them? Homers are homers for EVERY part of that team, not just one player you dork. Again, your tiny mind struggling with what's what.

.

Get real man. You are cherry picking everything to side with your agenda. You've brought up the QB class comparisons but then run and grab the supporting casts. Now that Luck has struggled a little bit, you throw Luck's numbers out there and compare to Ryan's.

You cannot even acknowledge the other side. You're so determined to be correct that you ignore the supporting facts for a counter argument.

Have I not said the entire time that the GM needs to go? Should've been gone with the Sopranos. I was all for the coaching change, bringing a philosophy from Green Bay, filling this team with homegrown talent like Teddy Thompson has. But we're overpaying for guys like Wallace and Ellerbe

http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/T/TannRy00.htm

Tannehill's numbers look better on the surface. Yards up, TD's up, rating up, good! Sacks are up, many which are on him, INT percentage is up, yards per attempt is still the same, completion percentage is better, long TD is down.
