If God doesn't Exist Explain To Me How This Happened By Chance

Meek Meals ^^^^

Honestly it doesn't matter how it was introduced to slaves. Most Christians in Rome were slaves or were persecuted.
When Constantine became a "Christian" and turned the Roman Empire into the Christian Religion all the former Roman priests were afraid and against Christianity cuz it had One God and they would be out of a job basically (each Roman God had a priest and alter). As a result the "Christian Religion of Rome" incorporated many of the Roman and pagan practices of the old roman religion. Instead of Mars, Venus, and Jupiter the romans made Jesus' Desciples saints and DemiGods. So nothing changed in Rome just the names of their Gods. Before and after Christianity, Rome was still imperialistic and blood thristy. Same goes for all the countries, empires, and leaders that have been so-called "Christians". Religion, money, and politics corrupts the real message.

My point is don't let religion or the bad deeds of others keep you from discovering God.
great post. Religions are not free from regulation and deregulation cycles much like industries deal with. Christianity was used as a job killing bill and consolidation of wealth front.

people not dealing with the church becasuse of corrupt men and their practices is like not dating a woman because she's had an ex and had sex

That was a weak analogy.

And also does one absolutely need church to worship? You can reject the messenger and still accept the message, correct?

Very much so. From what I can tell the Christ put emphasis on just being an overall good human being. He was a champion for the downtrodden and mistreated. A middle eastern freedom fighter of sorts.

I have a distinct feeling nowadays he would be labeled some form of terrorist or political dissenter.

Real talk I been taking anatomy and physiology and I was thinking the same thing as OP honestly

Yes sir.
A lot of people will watch Bill Maher bash Christianity or see the resemblance between us and a monkey and thus assume there is no God. The Trilobite which apperantly lived "Billions" of years ago had a better Eye than Humans and most mammals. So the world isn't necessarily evolving. Change does not equal evolution. In fact most mutations impair and even kill an organism despite what Stan Lee and the XMen have taught us. Every mutation of a gene or chromosome in the mothers womb will handicap a child or at least impair some feature unless it is a dormant cell feature.

Job 38: 4 “Where were you when I laid the foundation of the earth?
Tell Me, if you [a]have understanding, 5 Who set its measurements? Since you know.

Psalm 82:5 They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course

Psalm 19:1, 1. The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament shows his handywork.

1Timothy 20: Timothy, guard what has been entrusted to your care. Turn away from godless chatter and the opposing ideas of what is falsely called science and knowledge, 21 which some have professed and in so doing have departed from the faith.

A common misconception about the theory of evolution is that it states organisms are evolving to better and better organisms, like a sort of evolutionary ladder. In actuality, it is all relative to the environment. So the organism you pointed out having better eyesight has it because its environment was what guided it there. Our environment guided us to what we are now.

Evolution is a branching bush not a climbing ladder. Little bacteria are just as evolved as you are.

Also, existence of a higher being and evolution are not tied together.

When are people going to realize that gnosticsm/agnosticsm aren't mutually exclusive with theism/atheism?

If you are not a true Agnostic, then you should specify which subset you subscribe to.

Agnostic Theist

Agnostic Atheist
How would you define a "true agnostic"?
One who doesn't know/believe there is or isn't a God..... a person waiting for more information/discoveries/knowledge to make a decision
Disregarding that implying that there is a "true agnostic" is a "no true Scotsman" logical fallacy, what you just described is essentially an agnostic atheist--one that doesn't believe, but doesn't claim to know either.

OP, you are basically saying that just because the human body is complex, we had to have been created by god. The lack of evidence there is so vast, it's laughable.

That was a weak analogy.

Is my anology really weak when Jesus in the biblical understanding of Christ is that the church is likened to his wife and the men that defile her turn her into a harlot?

You just posted a whole series of graphs full of detailed information we know about the inner workings of our body and DNA, and this leads you to the conclusion that God must have made us? Talk about missing the point.

Adding atheist/theist to the term Agnostic refers to a side chosen.... those who choose neither side would rename true Agnostics.... because they claim lack of knowledge...not believing the existence or non-existence....

theists/atheists claim a side in God's existence

Yes I believe so.

Imagine if someone told you that you're just delusional if you think that you feel and smell god. How would that make you feel?

You're insisting that you know how other people feel here. I'm sure you'd be offended if they told you how they think you feel.

Your right..I don't know how people feel. I just when I am in a quiet place I can feel him.

Somebody explain this.

If you're "created" and not born, you wouldnt have a purpose for a navel. Raising the question why would they have one on the paintings?

Probably because the painters were just painters. Not exactly forward thinkers?

OP reminds me of Metta World Peace. Jesus/God was a genuis.

Don't know if you've said it already but at what age did you conclude you can feel and smell his presence?

plus the fact that the painter often used people in his community as the models to base it off of.

For the ones who believe there is a God (including myself), there's a reason why it's call "Faith"....each individual believes what they choose to believe and for ones like me (who believe God exist), there's a certain point where you can't try to explain to others what you "faithfully" believe to be true in your OWN heart.

To each his own.
