If God doesn't Exist Explain To Me How This Happened By Chance

so the rules and customs of the old testament are still valid?..... wow

I'm gonna get my lamb sacrifice on :smokin

Jesus was the final sacraficial lamb.

The old testament is a covenant between God and his people the jews. Yes we should read it because it is filled with great lessons and we need to read it so we understand the reasons for Jesus' birth, death and ressurection.

Most of us are Non Jews so The new testament is the New Covenant for us and also the Jews.

Lastly, we dont have to go to church. The bible encourages us to fellowship with each other and study and pray with each other but its not mandated.

Jesus encourages to do a lot of things but most Christians dont really follow his teachings and thats why we run in to trouble...because our flesh is weak. We should try do his will though.

The old testament has a lot of rules but being the pleasure and self serving people we are we fail to abide by them. Bible said not one human ever has been flawless or innocent.

Jesus is Salvation.

Sup,

I Love Jesus Christ.

If I'm right, I'm right. If i'm wrong, I'm right. If you're right, you're right and if you're wrong......good luck fapping with Hitler, Stalin, etc.

Semi-srs.

why are you quoting yahweh if you are a christian?

Because that is God. New and Old Testament God are the same one my brother. Old Testament is there to teach you and make you wiser. New Testament is still going on today. That doesn't mean you can't quote the Old Testament.

pictures or im calling ducktales

Hahahahahahahahahaha good one.. I don't have any pictures of Heaven I haven't been there. Yet one day when I am there if God allows NT there. I will PM you some. Or maybe you will be there with me.

Also God gives us free will. Yet we still have to account for the consequences. I am not here to Judge anyone for their beliefs(not saying I haven't done so before). So believe what you want to believe I am just telling you what I believe..!!

Moses gave the Laws to the 12 Tribes of Israel. The Jews are just 8%. of the people who received the law. They are for His ppl period. Those who accept His Son and are obedient to His commands. Not just Jews....

The Jews are just those who still practice the Laws til this dayy, but they have bastardized it by creating additional laws to avoid breaking the law of YHWH. And also follow practices set forth in Rabbinical Texts. The Bible speaks against this. YHWH's word is supposed to be good enough, that you shouldn't have to create extra barriers.

SO

This is a 2 part question to all you theists.

1. If I live a wholesome life, never sinned but never prayed either, am I still going to hell?

2. If someone lives a wholesome, sin free life and never comes into contact with religion, do they go to hell? (remote jungle people, isolated tribes, etc.)

If yes to either question then your god is immoral and a jerk.

I miss the walls of text and pics from the great NT atheists that may or may not still be among us

you quoted the old testament.... the god in the old testament = yahweh

this is before jesus came and changed the "rules" of who gets into heaven.... so why do you still quote the old testament?

Jesus' appearance and death did not nullify the entire Old Testament. It freed us from being bound by the law of Moses and from relying on a man, the high priest, to make atonement for our sins. because if the priest wasn't right, there would be no atonement. Not only that but that yearly atonement did not expunge sins, it would cover them and also the people's hearts were not right because they figured, sin today, atonement in October and I'll be fine.

The Yahweh of the Old Testament can still be quoted because, "For I am the Lord, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed." (Malachi 3:6 KJV)
Me quoting Yahweh isn't conflicting to what I believe as a Christian. I still believe in Yahweh but we as Christians today call Him Jesus because we believe they are one. There were many names to refer to God as before the name Jesus. Yahweh, Jehovah, Jehovah Jireh, Jehovah Rapha, Jehovah Nissi, Jehovah Shalom, Jehovah Raah, Jehovah Tsidkenu and Jehovah Shammah. Each one acknowledges God and describes a characteristic of Him, but like I quoted earlier He wants all of the glory. So when someone would only say Jehovah Rapha, they are only referring to Him as The Lord our healer when He is more than just that. He's also The Lord is peace, The Lord is present. Everyone had there different name for Him so He wrapped up each name and characteristic into the name Jesus. So now when we say Jesus, we are acknowledging each characteristic as one name.

so do the rules laid out in the old testament still apply?

I don't believe so. Because sacrificing lambs and oxes and bulls and stuff was so that God would forgive you. Now in the New Testament God sent a savior Jesus. Hence the ultimate sacrifice. So therefore just go by the New Testament for your life and use the Old Testament to become more wise and help you live the New Testament out. Good question..

is it plausible that the different names actually represent different entities that make up one "God body" (the Christ) to represent themselves? is it all set on one all knowing, all powerful entity who commissioned a body for himself?

Lamb sacrifices were done by the high priest. The lamb was killed and its blood was sprinkled on the mercy seat of the ark of the covenant. There were two cherubim fixed on the sides of the mercy seat with their faces covered, staring at the seat. So when the sacrifice was made and the blood was sprinkled, Gods anger would be kindled because He would see the blood and Passover.

This ritual from the old testament is done away with through Jesus. He has become the high priest and the sacrifice. He is now the only mediator between God and man. No longer do you need to rely on a man to make a sacrifice for you. Jesus already did. When we see God now, we see the man Jesus. But when God sees Jesus, He sees the blood stained sacrifice. So when Satan runs to God asking for someone's life and accusing them because of their sin, Jesus is right there mediating saying look at my blood, I've already paid for that sin. Advocating for you every time you sin and U.O.E.N.O.

*edit* the sacrifice was accepted by God sending down an all consuming fire that consumed the sacrifice if the person sacrificing was right. If he wasn't, HE would be consumed.

Im a sinner, and I approve this message

Of course there is a god, y'all are tripping. His main priorities for the past decade have been to.

1) Help Ray Lewis win another Super Bowl
2) Help the Grammy award winners
3) Help Benny Hinn become a multi-million dollar through miracles.

It's pretty clear. That evidence should be enough.
This logic is infallible. Lock this one up.

It's refreshing to see that some people in here are actually familiar with the scripture that they follow.

So often I see believers that aren't very familiar with it at all.
