But there a very important wedding next month that I need to attend and I have NEVER worn a suit before.

Is investing in a nice suit now worth it at my age?

Never to early. A solid black, blue, or dark grey suite and you're good. If you plan on growing more, I wouldn't invest too much into one ($200>)

You don't need to buy an expensive suit. Get something cheap but nice and go to a tailor and make that ***** look like the greatest thing invented for your body

Naa.....

Just go cop a cheap suit from Express and drop on alterations.

DB thread might help you a bit more, check there.

god i love suits. I used my first real wedding for a friend as an excuse to buy one

then its just going for different colours or styles but a plain black suit looking like Will Smith in Men In Black will never go out of style

what if you get fat?

Never too early to have something on hand. Buy either a charcoal, light grey, or a navy suit. Get measured, get suit, and get it altered to your specs. An altered "cheap suit" will look better than a straight off the shelf. Please do not buy other color suits: black (funeral only), brown, tan, white....

op , ask any woman if theres anything sexier to them then a well groomed man with a nice suit and shoes .

get a suit , young man .

Black suits should only be worn at funerals.. Go with charcoal or navy, hit up H&M or macys if you're on that 300 dollar budget and you can get an okay one without a ton of altering depending on your body... I used mine a few times during freshman year in college for school and outside events like weddings

Go to H&M you're gonna get a decent quality suit for 150 and it'll hold up if you treat it right.

I honestly don't get how there are adult males that have never worn a suit. Maybe its because I came up going to church and whatnot.

And where is this all black suits are only for funerals idea come from? A black suit should be the anchor of any man's semi formal wardrobe.

never too early, suits are awesome. if you got the money get a well made and tailored suit that fits you perfectly all around.

invest in a suit from express/macys/banana republic and get it tailored to fit you. fit > brand/price at this point in your life

Nope. If you're in college, the internship search will begin soon for you. So you need a nice interview suit

Yup. Too young

Waste of $$

Rent suits as needed till ur junior year or so then it may be cost effective to buy a nice one. If u wanna drop a cpl hundred now thats fine jus realize your not a man yet and your bodys still changing. Esp if you workout... i gained 20 pounds of muscle from 19 to 22

How are you 19 and have never worn or owned a suit?
