How much would it cost to get the new iphone?

Last time I upgraded early was when the 4 came out. I think the discount was like $100 or $150. I still had to pay like $500 for the 32GB.

Edit:

Discount was actually $200.

I wanna pull the trigger on a 5 but common sense is telling me to wait on the 5s. After gong thru an S3, Note 2, and a Htc One, I'm ready to come back to iOS. Using my old 4 is buns though.

lol the One isn't even better than the 5. They are completely different experiences. Oh lemme guess Screen Size and Benchmarks that mean nothing make something better. k

The One was the best android phone I have used period. I'm only switching back because I missed iOS. Period. Android has come along way. I might just buy a 5 and use my upgrade next year for the 6.

might as well wait a month unless you are getting the 5 for cheap then go for it but its kinda pointless to throw money at the 5 right now

Rumors are it will come in champagne gold and will have up to 128 GB storage. ONE TWENTY EIGHT. As someone who has been using a 64 since it was an option on the 4S, this is huge for me. I am constantly cutting my 30 GB music library down to have a solid 6 GB free. With 128 I can stop limiting myself and have the option to throw a movie on my phone. It will probably be like $500 down plus the monthly installments off contract :smh:

I need that 128 option badly I been using a 64 for a couple years now n it's been full for a least a year. I would love to be able to add new music etc without the hassle of taking music on and off

am i the only one that feels these type s phones are some lowkey gimmicks?

i don't have a 5, but i've always felt it was plenty fast. at this point i don't see it as necessary. same thing with these quad core or octa cores that are coming out.

just never saw the point of putting desktop like power in a phone, which the avg user uses it for email, browsing and texting...o yea and calling. don't need a million cores for all that.

thats y i respect what google did with the moto x and why i still respect apple. i think better software design goes a long way, more so than top of the line processor specs. i mean ios still runs on 512mb of ram (fact check :nerd:).

I thought 32 gigs wouldn't be enough when I had the One, but after I put movies, music etc, I still had 10 gigs free. Whether I get the 5 or 5s 32-64 gigs should be good. 128 gigs?! I probably have 100 gigs free on that thing!

Tbh only gripe I have about my 4 is that the camera sucks man. Idk if it's me or not but some photos come out blurry and others are clear as hell. If it wasn't for that I'd be fine with my 4 for a while

You don't listen to 90% of those songs.

I'd like to see some insane battery life -- like 2004 days when you didn't have to charge that thing for 2 weeks.

I don't think the tech is there, but that's my dream. Hate charging.

The main reason I hate my 4. My wife's 5 takes great pics

im very intrigued by this "entry level" iphone...

i really only use my iphone 5 for podcasts in addition to browsing, texting and calls.

if its the same size as the 5, id buy...

Why carry another device around if you don't have to?

ok but your paying an extra $200-$300 every other year when you could just buy and ipod once. and the whole carrying around 2 devices argument is stupid. in the 6 years i have had my 160 gb ipod i have never once complained about carrying it around

I really hope they make the 32gb the entry level....I live just fine with 16gb, but it'd be nice to have more for the same price. 128gb is OD for a phone, IMO...especially the price. You're approaching base model MBA levels when you factor in tax.

I remember i used to charge my battery like once every 3-4 days

But thinking back I used to use my phone for only calls and text and didnt turn on a bright back lit screen every 2 minutes.

I'm sure if we used our phones in back then as much as we do now we'd notice similar battery issues.
