My plan going forward is to just pay for the phone out right to keep my unlimited data plan until ATT ends it. Which seems to be their plan at some point since they keep raising the price and since its no longer an available option.

But crazy that to get a 7+ with 32gig i have to drop $769 pre tax. Its like my phone is nice...but id rather just get a new mac book air for around that price ($899 base for low end i5 model) and keep my iphone 6

when they upgrade the screen and drop the bezel next year with some fast charging capability il pick up an iphone 8

I was going to do this but Apple is offering an interest free consumer loan for 2 years with their ungrade plan. Plus 2 in the hand is worth more than 2 in the bush.

I hear you. Honestly if i were to do this i would just pay the phone off on the last installment because you have to turn the phone in when you are done right?

Pay 12 payments turn the phone in and get a new one. So you pay for half a phone and get nothing, you just turn it in for a new phone and payment continues. If it is interest free its financially the best thing to do (opportunity cost).

It's always a juug when you trade something in, somehow, some way.

Trust that if they weren't going to come out ahead, they wouldn't be doing it.

That said, if you plan on sticking with TMO for at least 24 months and don't mind the "free" part coming in the form of monthly credits (which they've been known to screw up), then go for it.

Ive been with T mobile for 2 years and its unlimited for me, i watch tv and movies on all day at work with no wifi. It has to be unlimited because i def would have ran more the 50 gigs

Have you used the Apple Store App in the past?  How did it work?  Also, Pre-orders start tonight at midnight PST or 3PM EST tomorrow?? Thanks guys

used the apple store app for the 5 and 6 and had no problems. It goes live at 3AM eastern time, if you're trying to get a popular color is the only time you'd run into issues so I hope Apple stocks PLENTY of the black/jet blacks this go round

anyone know how VZW is handling this release? I remember when the 6 dropped they did a $200 credit for all Iphone 5s. I checked and I have an update and my trade in value for my 6 128 gb is $300! Hoping I can get a 7 plus for under 200..

After you pay the full amount the phone is yours to keep.

If you upgrade in 12 months you have to turn the phone in for the new one. My plan is to keep the phone for a couple years. Last night I relized I had a couple subscription out on random stuff I wasn't using which equaled to $100 (ie bangbus, slingtv, reality kings and ect).
