Isn't tmobile's new plan weaker than it was before? Unlimited is capped at 20-or so GB at 4G. The rest of your unlimited will be at 2G speeds. Probably not an issue for casual users. They also cap all video streaming at 480p.

I also placed my phone info in the verizon trade in program and theyre giving me 400$ for my 5s..not bad

The size will bother you but give it a week and you will see yourself loving it. I remember picking up my 6 plus and was gonna return it within a few days.

I am on apples website trying to figure out exactly how this Upgrade Plan works and i am so lost.
So you have to pay 24 months of payment for your 7, but 12 months in you get to start ANOTHER 24 month plan for the iphone 8?

Financially how does this make sense?

Can someone cliff note (AKA DUMMY TALK) this program for me.
I notice it comes with apple care, if it seems worth it I will just join that program instead of stupid ATT Next which gives you no benefits.

Yup it's the same concept as leasing a car. You never own the phone you just keep turning in the old one when a new one comes out

Just left AT&T, they're doing the same deal as t mobile and sprint! Turn in your phone get 650 credit! So basically I'll be paying 7 dollars a month on top of my bill for 12-24 months. Not bad. My monthly bill actually going to come out cheaper. They're doing the direct tv promo deal also. Oh and I get unlimited everything!

Yup it was their 2 lines for $100 unlimited everything promotion they had when they started the uncarrier movement a few years back. They paid my ETF too when I left Verizon for them.

Yea not sure where/how people are getting this crazy trade in amounts. Even that ATT deal up there. Online it says 6s+ with 138gb is only $310. Says a 6+ 64gb is $200.

You're correct. If you still have unlimited on their simple choice plan I would just keep that. That's true unlimited with no throttling whatsoever. They're phasing it out though so they want people on their new T-Mobile One plan which is throttled like you said in your original post.

I hate putting all my old info onto a new iPhone. It seems like the battery and whatever other bugs follow you. Battery one is most annoying. Not trying to restore as new. A continual problem Apple never fixes.

Back up your phone on itunes before you get your new phone then restore that backup onto the new phone. It takes time but Its really easy. Literally a few clicks and it puts everything in it.

Your definitely right about this, the apple store believed that alot of my issues came from me carrying my back up since the iPhone 3g/4 with me to now.
