what a joke preordered on verizon at 3:15am and it says expected delivery is 9/28...what is the point of preordering?!
shoot im trying to figure that out too. I got my confim email from verizon maybe 330am est and my joint dont ship till october 12th I just hope those are place holders so you wont be calling them everyday if they cant make the release window next week.

i'm just gonna wait till release day or day after to hit the apple store. they usually get shipments everyday/every other day or so. this whole preorder but get it two months later is buns

Im on sprint also. I got the iphone forever leasing program so once I get my new iphone 7 I send my 6 back and i don't have to pay anything.

pretty much on their iphone forever plan if u make 12 straight payment u can either trade ur old phone in and upgrade to the new iphone or u can own continue paying on the old phone if u wanna own it.The what?

What you do is sell your phone over eBay or somewhere that you ship and receive the funds immediately. Sell it as unlocked. Which will go for more. And you could get around 400-500. Use that money to pay the rest of the payments and have sprint unlock it. That way you end up extra cash in your pocket.
Or you you just pay the rest of the phone off. Get it unlocked then get your money back plus more when you sell.
I have AT&T and I did it with my 6 to get the 6s. I sold my 6 over eBay for 550 and paid the 300 I had left to pay on it. Got it unlocked. And ended up with a smooth 100 in my pocket.

If I sell my current 6, is there anything special I have to do to make it as unlocked? I bought it with the new upgrade pricing back in 2014 for 400 I think so I don't owe on it. Do I take the SIM card out?

Wrong thread but it's the most active Apple thread so excuse me but is the Apple Watch worth it?? Looking at the stainless steal series 2 but don't want to drop money on it and have to upgrade it ever other year like a phone.

Apple Watch is the most impractical thing I've ever come across. The only thing that could've made the item worth it's price is FaceTime and yet it still isn't a feature

The watch sucks
People swear by it but I owned it. It was slow, laggy, boring.
It looks nice, that's about it.
Watch needs to be thinner and lighter and have way more features to be placed back on my wrist.
Not worth anywhere what the retail price is IMO

Check swappa and list it ASAP.
It shows the latest sold listings, very safe and good website for buying and selling phones especially iphones

im not sure of the upgrade price you are talking about but if you satisfy your contract whether it's the two year contract (if that still exist) or installment plan then you have the right to get it unlocked by the carrier.

I bought it before they were doing installment billing and what not. I think the way it worked was if I did a 2 year contract it gave me a discount rather than paying full price? My contract isn't up until next month but it let me upgrade now, so by upgrading to the 7 shouldn't I be able to unlock it?

Ohhh I see what you're saying. Then I would think you should be able to if they are not asking you to trade in your 6 for the 7. But I would call and see. I don't see why should be able to.

so basically you are leasing the phone, like you lease a car. you get the phone you want, iphone 6 for instance, you pay your monthly bill along with a small amount to pay for the phone until you pay it off, when a new iphone comes out, (iphone 7) you can trade in your 6 and get the 7 and you start paying that off and the cycle repeats when a new iphone comes out and if you want to upgradeThe what?
