Off topic sorta, but 10 yrs in and Apple still haven't added the damn date to the status bar or the current temperature

Sort of redundant to the notification center, no?

Would be unnecessary to have it in the status bar, notification center, and the app.

ordered the spigen neo hybrid but it seems there's issues with the volume buttons lining up properly which will be a deal breaker if that's the case when i put it on

My current cases for the iphone6:

Spigen capsule ($15)

Ive had the capsule for about a week, its composite of rubber and silicone ( TPU). It does its job protecting the camera and bezel from scratching while absorbing/defecting drop impact of the phone. I will say its not as tacky as pure silicone based cases but much greater than a bare phone. If your on the fence about a case or waiting until something better hits the market this the case for you without spending 30+ on a case that you may not use more than a month. 

Apple silicone case ($35)

I just bought this case about two days ago and will be returning before the grace period is up on returns. I will say the build quaility of the case is top notch. From the microfabric on the inside to prevent any scratching to the back of the phone and the cases fits really well to the phone ( Spigen was a little loose under the Home button area, which is why I think Apple cases doesnt have protection on the bottom ). While its tackier than the Spigen but not 20$ more tacky, so if you want a Apple case I say get the silicone vs the leather. I just wished they made a Navy Blue silicone like they did for the leather. The leather Apple case is more fashionable than functional and for what it cost it should be both but it isnt. 

 Switcheasy is brand I've always used and recommended because the materials they used were superior to other brands. So Im waiting a few months to decide on a case long term but the Capsule will service its purpose. Spigen was slow in sending out my case ( 1.5wks) so they refunded me for the case so Im in no rush to buy a new until its what I want

I ordered the same. They're supposed to ship a "fix" for the volume buttons, which are just stickers. My case didn't have the fix included; one button clicks fine, the other is hard to feel the click but it works fine. So I'm not sure if they fixed the actual thing or not. Aside from that it's solid, especially at the Amazon price.

Yea and no. I mean that can be said about a lot of thing including the time.... hell you could argue why even have the carrier name in the status bar it's not like you need it or would forget your service provider.iuno it just seem so simple and easy to add. Especially when you just taking a quick glance. And duh I know you can do it via jailbreak..... hell jailbreak will add multitasking to the 6+ but that doesn't mean it shouldn't have been initially added aka stock to the 6+.

Would be unnecessary to have it in the status bar, notification center, and the app.

Yeah but all you to do is literally swipe your finger down from anywhere and you instantly have the weather.

It's really no different and doesn't take loads of time to do. Less than a second.

I used to have it when my phone was jail broken, and it made everything seem cluttered.

True but again the same can be said about the time. You could easily swipe down and get that. And still see no real purpose for the carrier name. You could even make the argument for the signal bars as they don't give you any true indication or info on your data/signal coverage or speed. I don't think I've ever had an incident to which having the carrier name was needed or was found useful. Same with having the battery icon and the battery percentage. Same could be said for the am/pm like as if anyone needed to look at the status bar of their cellphone to determine whether it was night or day lol.
 
Looks like there was nothing wrong with my battery after all. I think someone here said it earlier on about backing up from another phone. She said that my battery was calibrated since it was backed up from my old phone. Also I'm glad I didn't get that Apple leather case. Joint feels mad cheap.
 
$45 cases feel like $2.00 cases. I dont understand how some of you can pay anything above $10 for a case.

Zoogue is what I chose to go with. Had it on my 5 for 2 years and it was great. Absorbed all kinds of drops and it wasnt slippery either. Not the best looking but definitely a good case.

Only downfall is that it does not fit tight on your phone. Dirt can easily get between the phone and case.

My roomates are def sick of listening to me, and doubt anyone in here really cares, but

Def recomend keeping ur phone for close to the full 14day. Was ready to trade in my plus about the 3rd day but stuck with it and now im much happier
