that being said, I understand people who feel they need them.

like if i worked construction or something..

but im fine with my phone in my pocket, and im very aware of it in my hand. Couple drops here and there, but all have been minimal.

some people need to kit out their phone because if it's not in the left hand, it's in the right.

That and the Sidekick were running the game before the OG iPhone dropped.


Back when Nokia made the best phones out.

I was on The Verge and saw an article asking what you thought was the best smartphone of all time in relation to its era.

TBH both the N95 and the iPhone 4 come to mind.

When is the next round expected to ship out. Sprint gave me a ball park estimate of 2-4 weeks but possibly sooner due to me ordering a 64gb. I need more definitive answers lol

Engineer here too and I see exactly where you're coming from too. My case is most vital during the weekends when I'm out in Hoboken/NYC. These phones can slide right through your hand drunk.

Just got off the phone with Sprint. Im trying to exchange my 6 for a 6+. The guy over the phone said their estimated time is 2-4 weeks but is saying customers are getting their phones within 1 week or less.


They're getting a certain amount of phones from Apple daily and sending em out to customers. I suggest you put in an order and wait it out.


Im going to call all the SPrints stores around me and check stock.

Yep I don't trust myself at all when I'm drinking. Especially taking pics in a crowded bar, someone is bound to knock it out your hand.

It all depends on the user and how they are with their phones. I like going naked and feeling the design so I make sure it's always in my pocket or sitting on my desk whenever I'm not using it.

But my mom, on the other hand, I'll make sure she has a case. She throws the phone in her purse with keys, change, etc.

Reading through this thread I'm shocked rarely anyone has mentioned anything about ios 8.0.2. I just installed this into my 5 last week and it has been nothing but hell.

-slow as hell now
-apps crashing left and right
-phone freezes (cant even press home button or power button, just have to wait til the phone comes to its senses)
-camera roll gone
-trash

I really miss iOS 6 guys...... those were the days when Apple was, Apple. The saying "it just works" won't fly around here anymore I can guarantee you that. And to make matters worse, Apple won't let anyone revert back to 7.1.2. Basically I have a piece of basura (trash) that can barely open up facebook. Unless you get the 6 or 6+ (which I won't) which iOS8 works smoothly on, you're stuck with a phone that feels like 2007. If the next update results in the same problems as the list above, I'm done with Apple.

It's because your phone is "outdated". Sucks, but that's technology. I found that the newest iOS only supports the newest and last year iPhone

This is why I am not keen on smart watches, it'll be like the phones where it'll be outdated after a year or so and will be of no use after 2 years or something, you'd have to buy a new one over and over again like clockwork.

If you're looking for something that won't lag with new updates, consider copping a nexus instead. The s5 and Samsung phones are notorious for slowing down over time.
