You try putting your phone in DFU mode?

https://theiphonewiki.com/wiki/DFU_Mode

thanks for that...yea man, I've tried that. but:

Entering DFU Mode on iPhone, iPad or iPod touch:

1. Plug your device into your computer with a USB cable. - did this

2. Turn off the device - My phone only "comes on" when its plugged in. i can't turn it on or off it seems. it just goes off and on on its own only to the apple logo. repeatedly.

3. Hold the Power button for 3 seconds. - did this along with the next 3 steps

4. Hold the Home and Power buttons for 10 seconds. - check

5. Release the Power button but keep holding the Home button. - check

6. After about 15 seconds you will be alerted by iTunes saying that it has detected a device in Recovery Mode. - my phone only showed a picture of a usb needing to connect to iTunes. my iTunes asks me to restore the phone at this point, which erases my data. and my whole deal is I'm trying to keep the data. and buy a new phone. i believe even if i did go through with the restore, it errors out. that's what happened on my mac, and at the apple store. this is where my phone leaves off at. i had a free trial software that recognized my data, but asked for $100 to save the data. i feel like that's a bit high, but if that's common, i guess i would just have to cough it up. seems like there should be an easy freeware to get the files. but i can't get my phone out of recovery mode to get my data.

Smh got my replacement phone from Apple not too long ago

Made another appointment with Genius since my lock button isnt so responsive. Cant even restart my phone without pushing the lock button in with some sort of force

Anyone else having issues with their 6+ restarting randomly, and the home button not working some times? I've had mine for about a month or so maybe less and it's already acting up. Besides those small issues, I'm really digging this phone. Going to the 4S to this is like night and day haha. I picked up my 4S today off the night stand and was like damn, how did I survive using this tiny *** screen

Also, tried installing that GBA emulator. When it was installing, it said error and that it couldn't install at this time. So I reset my phone and tried again, now when I hit install, nothing happens at all. Any resolution?

So, had my 6 plus for about 2 weeks now. Coming from Android a small learning curve but getting confused with iTunes.

My laptop is my the computer I used to load my music and books on it. I thought I would be able to plug it in my comp at work and be able to delete what I wanted to. I know past IOS would allow iPods to be able to have their music deleted when plugged into iTunes. Am I doing something wrong. Wanted to just put a majority of my music and books and then just delete whatever. Any help would be much appreciated. I know if I go to the sync music option, it will give me the popup window of deleting what is currently on my iPhone, which obviously, I dont want to do.

Thanks my NT brethren.

Little known and many may not remember but today is the day 8 years ago the release of the very first iphone......

Weird how it used to be rare to see someone with an iphone. Only one of my friends had the og one. I bought the 3G because it worked best with my macbook. att service sucked in NYC and sometimes I couldn't even call or send a text. Blackberry users hated on my phone. My friend said iphones were for kids and blackberries were for adults.
