New customers would get the iphone + watch, if they believe that having the devices makes their lives easier rather than give them just 'more features'. The product is selling on the basis that these products are functional and can do things that can make your life easier---versus an ideology of having a bunch of features of things you can do.

That's how they sell people into the system. If you don't see the "this can make your life easier" value in their products then you wont switch, and if you did you wouldn't be happy anyway because you'd want the ability (feature-wise) to do anything you wanted.

I see where your getting at but a $200+ phone with a service contract then to turn around to purchase a $350 watch doesn't seem like a great business strategy. I mean I don't work at Apple and as much garbage as I'm talking I'll buy one but I'm an Apple loyalist so I have bias for the products but truth be told I don't feel like the watch will sell. It's not practical at all. What apple could've done was include the Watch with the phone and try to make their money through custom wrist bands. Regardless I'm not happy in the direction Apple is heading in and it seems as though android will dominate the smartphone market for years to come. A shame considering that Apple pioneered it and can't keep up

Easy to type.. but what product of Apples sits? What sells Apple products is what you typed above. "im an Apple loyalist, so I'll buy one". Th average consumer buys, not sells, so some will buy an iwatch because their curiosity gets the best of them..so are loyalist.. some get peer pressure because their officemates or schoolmates have them.. Its why apple is so dominate.. The polish average/above average products and do the heavy lifting that you dont have to, in terms of decision making on electronics(phone, laptop, now watch)

You must have missed Apple Pay lol . I will be copping the 64 GB Iphone 6 day 1. This day 1 iphone 5 has to go. Will be getting the iWatch also.
