How old are you man? You're way better off waiting till you have the cash to pay for it up front then get screwed over 2 years man.
So how does it work? My friend who works at att said i can either sell or trade my iphone 5 16gb for $200-250 .. Then when the phone is mine I can sell the plus for 300-350 ? But I'm still losing about $200 bucks I'm so lost but I wanted a phone and just went with it as an impulse

No clue, I'll probably head into the store and find out but from what you're telling me it seems like a bad deal.

He'll get the $200 for his phone towards the purchase of the 6plus, then the remaining balance gets spread out on his bill over the next 12-24months i believe. The thing about it is that as most people are buying the phone at a discounted price he has to pay for the phone in full.

Honestly bro id turn to eBay if i were you. post it up for like $150 BIN and see if anyone bites.
I have a 64gb 5s i just posted on the bay yesterday, i set it to where people can send me offers and i can accept once i see one i like so I'm just waiting for someone to offer me $450 or more and that'll pretty much cover the cost of my 6

Kept mine in an Otterbox the whole time I've had it due to work so it's pretty clean. Would you recommend I sell it before it comes out or will I be safe after also?

still debating which iPhone 6 to get, i'm leaning towards the iPhone 6+ due to the stabilization camera, extra features, etc.

I didn't get to pre-order though.

it depends, how positive are you that you will get the new iPhone this Friday? If its a sure thing then id say put it up for sale now. Do a 3day auction and add the option to accept offers. That way you can get the money for your old phone by Thursday, get your new one Friday and ship out your old phone right after. I don't know what carrier you have but you might also want to look into unlocking your phone too, that should fetch you a couple of extra bucks.

Most likely not this friday I was planning on waiting till the end of the month at the earliest. I usually wait it out, let all the issues pop up first.

are yall who always have been iphone owners suddenly jumping up to the Iphone 6 plus?

thats a huge jump in size. I hope yall seen those who have Galaxy Notes, or had a chance to see if you like the size of how a Note feels in your hand pocket

On that note, I've always been using Androids in the 5" screen size range, and I still think the Note size is too big. One of the main reasons I didn't feel butt hurt for not getting the One Plus One, Note etc

I did though get the Iphone 6. Might have my wife use it, or I'll be using it to see what you apple owners get religious about with these phones. I also bought a Galaxy S5 at the same time.
Should be interesting.

If i really wanted a phablet, would be the Note 4 though.

The 6+ will be had simply for the camera stabilization and the battery life, both of which are struggles for me now.
Not really caring that it's terribly big is no-mo.

So Sprint 6+ are 4/6 weeks out if you order online?

This is still tripping me out. I mean why do they not have enough built to sale millions instantly and have them ready to ship in a timely manner. Only i6 gold will be deliverable by 9/19

I ordered by dialing *2 on my phone coz i'm still under that $50/month unlimited plan and wanted to keep it. Agent confirmed my 6+ gold 64GB will ship on the 19th.

abc1234 abc1234 Next is simple, no down payment divide full retail price of phone over 20/24 payments.
After 12/18 months they let you trade that phone back(if you want) and upgrade to the newest model.

The deal you got isn't bad if you can't afford to pay the 199and up upgrade fee with a signed 2 year contract.

Some people won't miss 20/30 per month but 2/500 up front may change their budget for the month drastically.

So I'm not paying more or less ? Just 299 spread out to 24 months ?

No, the 299 would be if you signed a 2 year contract and paid up front.

The benefit of paying a small amount per month like $31 they are charging you is you don't have to pay 299 right away.

The downfall is if you take the $31 per month like you did, you pay the FULL price of the phone.

$31x24mos=$744 (Full price of phone)

If you've got 2/300 upfront, just pay for it and sign the 2 yr contract

I don't have an upgrade though that's why I went with the next.. They make it sound so easy and good "just add 31.01$ for 24 months 0 payments now " but in time will the price be equivalent to having a two year upgrade and paying 299 for the plus?

Dudes signing up, but not asking the details of what they're signing from AT&T

Instead of getting AT&T Next you should just sign a contract and purchase on a credit card.

So I just purchased a 16 gb iphone 6plus
Via ATT NEXT

Not to sure about the program did I just screw myself? I'm paying $31 and some change for 24 months on a phone worth $300? Can someone explain

So you're paying $744 in total with the option to upgrade in 12 or 18 months and the 6+ is $749

Did I miss something?
