Anyone have a spot in NYC to repair iPhone 6 screen? I went to genius bar, they said my phone was bent and therefore not eligible for the $110 screen replacement. They directed me to an "authorized dealer" to get it done there instead. I explained the situation and the authorized dealer said they send the phone to Apple themselves so if the phone is bent they would have the same problem and were not sure why Apple would send me to them.

If anyones been in a similar situation or has a spot, please let me know.

I really think we are reaching the point fast where phones are maxed out. My 6+ is perfect ..battery life ..speed ..screen size etc.

When they make a phone that doesn't die for 3-4 days is when I'll upgrade ..

With Tmo I read that if you payed off atlas half of the phone you can trade it in for a new phone. All payments of the previous phone is over you just start paying for the new phone immediately

There's 2 different versions, jump program and the jump on demand program. The jump on demand is the 3 phones per year.

You pay a monthly fee for a phone and when you're ready to get a new one, you turn in that old phone and you swap it out for whatever's new.

Think of it as a lease on a phone.

you have the option to pay off the rest of the phone and keep it.

these carrier financing plans turn out to be cheaper in the end versus a traditional 2-year contract.

and they come out pretty similar in price to buying the phone out right as well.

So I just signed up for the SPRINT iPHONE FOREVER PLAN.

I upgraded my sons phone (iPhone 4) to a 6+ 128 gigs. We had to trade in his working iphone 4 (cant be cracked) so I can do the deal.

First off, the you're leasing the phone and you have to surrender it every time you upgrade. Here are the rules
-You do not pay anything out of pocket the day of.
-You get charged an activation fee of $40 (I think thats the correct amount)
- Every phone is priced differently, the better the phone, the more money you pay. And more gigs equals more money too. We pay $28 monthly for the new phone but right now they have a promotion running and you can get $7 or more off your monthly lease forever.
- You can upgrade whenever you want, from what the lady said, there are no limitations to how many phones you can upgrade a year. But you do have to surrender your old phone and it has to be in working no cracked screens order.
-Prices do not roll over because you are giving the phone back.
-Your plan does not change and you are not tied down for another 2 years.

Theres soo many of these spots in the city idk which one to choose. And going to any one of them voids the warranty on the phone which doesnt make it any easier.

I just called them to drop the activation fee. The lady on the phone says they charge that fee every single time a new phone is activated. She waived it this time, but dont think it will happen again.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, the 6+ is perfect IMO. I have absolutely no reason to upgrade.

Now that you can run truly backgrounded apps.. it really really is.  Probably my favorite phone of all time.. and im historically an Android guy.

The 6+ will be perfect with more RAM. I hate the Safari refreshes when you have multiple tabs open. If this new joint doesn't have at least 2 GB of RAM, I may have to break something.

On a factory unlocked iPhone 6 from the Apple store and initially had ATT with the grandfathered unlimited data.  That plan seemed like a waste to me so I bounce around and tried Verizon and Tmobile.  Im back with ATT now, sorta.  On the Cricket 5GB plan and pay 45 a month.  I frown upon the contracts/payment plan system
