Mine stopped working as well and now I can properly rescan my fingerprints. I'm still under warranty so I'm going to take it in

I didn't rescan my fingerprints and it worked again. Maybe an app caused a glitch on mine. If it happens again I'll take it in to Apple.

Now that AT&T got rid of 2 year contracts for the NEXT program do I now have to buy my phone at full price? I'm trying to keep my unlimited data forever!

I'm in the same Next program, chose the 18 month plan. I want to know how much AT&T will give me for my phone when it's time to upgrade, because it might be more lucrative to just sell it on my own

Also spending $1k on a phone is nothing like spending $1k on shoes fam. You won't be wearing those $1k kicks everyday, whereas you'll be using that phone dozens of times before you go to sleep every night.

However for the record, I think 1k is way too high for a phone. I spent $850 on mine and I will not be repeating that again

Ehh.

If it's recording in 4K, taking pictures with 12MP+, that memory goes a lot faster than you think famb. Especially if you have HDR set to "On" for pictures, that takes 3-5 pictures at once and puts them together to make the best possible photo / lighting.

It's a lot of memory, but for someone who uses their phone a lot, especially the camera, it's a good amount. Not a ton.

I move most of my stuff onto my pc. No point in having hella pics and videos taking up space on your phone. When you prbly aint going to look at them after the first week/month

You going to pay for that regarless fam. Whether its monthly or in full

I'm paying it monthly now. Good thing about iphone's is that I'll be able to recover a solid chunk of that later when it is time for a new phone

NT broke boys outchea hating on the 256gb

128gb iPhone 6S+ is $950... Its more than $1k after tax

Ya'll literally talking about a $50 increase

Its not about being rich. Its literally going back and forth about a slight price increase

the 128gb is already over a thousand dollars.

So whats the big deal, unless you're paying for something and not realizing what those monthly payments are adding up to

The original iPhone was $599 WITH a 2 year contract... That wasn't the retail price on the phone, that was the subsidized price.

People said they would never pay that much for a phone, but look at you now.. Breaking $650 down into 24 month payments doesn't make it any less cheap

These phones were NEVER cheap to begin with.

The price of these phones will keep rising, and these companies will keep finding new ways to get you to buy them.

I'm not even talking about pricing

At this point, phones are expensive and been expensive and it's only gonna go up.

Base price in a few years will reach $900-1000 don't worry.

Let's be fair here though, not all companies are raising the prices like Apple and Samsung. Although they might not be be best phones, there are plenty of other companies offering competitive phones for much lower prices

TBH HTC and LG make phones just as good for a few hundred bucks cheaper.

ESPECIALLY if you're comparing them Samsung. I'd take an HTC 10 or Google Nexus over those trash Samsungs any day.

I just really like the iPhone, so I don't care to switch to a new OS.

But they're getting me for my money just like everyone else.

I was at my friends house helping his wife apply for jobs (they are not computer literate at all) they had the Galaxy tablet..it was so slow..had to run and get my iPad mini..I was so mad lol

Galaxy was nice..was too slow tho

alot of pocket watching I this thread. The most I would spend on shoes is around $500. When I bought my 6s Plus 128 gb in January I paid cash for it. Damn near a $1k after taxes. I just sold it a week ago for $750 because I wanted the smaller 6s. 1. The phone retained its value, 2. Some users have more memory needs. The same way people say 128, 256 is OD, is the same way I feel 16gb is completely dumb especially when you consider the price. People like what they like. Like I said in a earlier post 128 is more than enough for me, but who knows I may end up with the 256 depending on how I feel.
