I tend to agree with you. I'm leaning towards the 4.7 inch model unless something is different with the 5.5 besides screen size.
A 4.7 inch screen is plenty big enough for me.

Upon further inspection, the model number on the back says A1429. That's an iPhone 5 model number. I'm thinking it's a fake.

It may be one of those cloned units they have running a heavily skinned version of android. I believe you can buy them for a couple hundred. They are wack though.
Also, I believe that we know what the i6 is going to look like, we just have no clue about it's features and how it will use IOS 8 to its advantage.
There are some well informed people who don't think the 5.5 is a real thing (even though these parts have leaked etc). So I don't know what to think right now. I am anticipating getting the 4.7 as of now. I think App;e will be in a safe zone with that. I would hate to feel like the 5.5 is superior and have to pay more for it. With a screen that big there is no way we are going to have the same internals (to push that screen without messing with performance). But I dunno obviously and am excited to see it! I have an easy pay upgrade right now but I am gonna use my real upgrade on Oct 1

5.5 is entirely too damn big for a device I use on the go so many times per day. 4.7 is a sweet spot....loved that size on the HTC HD2 back in the day. Anything over 5 inches starts getting too big, IMO *PAUSE*
I always get a kick out of folks I see in line at the grocery store who have some big flip case on their phablet that requires them to use both hands to navigate their device. Seems so involved and consuming to have to deal with such a big phone.
