Air Jordan 6IX Rings Retro “Bred”?

After its initial release in 2008, the Air Jordan 6IX Rings may return in the Bred colourway.

Will these have the same spotlight as the Air Jordan 11 Bred released last year?

Time will tell…

they were sort of popular the first time they released. I can see them being even more popular now with the hype of the black/red 11 recent retro, and the people who missed out. not that there aren't a lot of people who copped the 11s, but i'm sure there's enough fiends out there who would grab both, or just the 6 rings. trash shoe either way

Considering that picture that had like 3 or 4 other 6 Rings in the background, it isn't a surprise that more of them will be coming out.. Interesting that they are releasing these again so quickly although I guess it has been 5 years already, doesn't seem like it's been that long though.. I bet they will probably move faster than time around, but who knows..
 
JB is retro'ing a hybrid Jordan this soon?

 I think these sold pretty well the first time around in 2008 (at $160?) but they were released way before the 2012 Playoff 11's came out. I doubt heads will be itching for these as bad this year.

Eh will they fit better than the actual 11s. I heard the pinky toe horror stories

It's a bittersweet. Sucks that the term was coined... Pretty impressive that damn near everyone uses it now a days. Shows the power of NT.

Id take a spizike (certain ones) over what looks to be a knockoff XI. Atleast with a spizike its a mashup and not just a XI with a strap on it. IMO that strap only works on very few shoes and doesnt look right on an XI
 
EZ pass. these were so popular because it was the closet thing we could get to the Black/Red XIs that eventually dropped in the 11/12 CDP. Now that JB stopped playing with us with the OG colored themed hybrids and started dropping the real shoe, there is not much of a demand/need for this shoe.

I do imagine these selling in GS/Kids sizes tho.
 
I always like these, but will most likely pass. I'm sure they won't be any cheaper than they were in '08 tho.
 
I bought these back in 08 when they first released. Even though i had the black/red 11s from 01 something about these made me have to get them so i did. i guess the idea of hybrids wasnt played out yet to me. anyway my local ftl only had 1 size run so i got there about an hour after opening and got my pair. over all i like the shoe, loved the color way and quality was top notch. def a lot better than the 08 CDP 11. but one thing i hated about them was that they never seemed to break in even though i got that 1 whole size bigger than usual. (im an 11 and i got a size 12) ended up selling them 3 years later.

I dont know if anyone noticed this but i owned the concord ones as well and idk when this started but they went from using a carbon fiber plate on the bottom of these to it being just plane rubber on the concords. guess thats good ole JB cutting corners again to make a buck.

my pair's sole peeled when worn and the patent leather was definitely cheaper (like the 12 black/red 11s) so they creased harder than any XI that I had before.

I just remember me dropping $150+ tax saying, this could be the closet I get to the black/red XIs if I fail on the pack in the fall :lol:

how much did you wear them? 

They hurt my feet so bad from not breaking in i only wore them about 10-15 times. so i cant really say i put them to the test. looked almost as good as the day i bought them when i sold them.

that pack was another headache in itself

^^^ only a few times. probably less than 5. I just remember looking at them after the first couple of wears and seeing the soles peel. kind of like slivers of the rubber coming off.

I admit, these are cool for kids, females, toddlers tho. got my girl a pair of the concord themed ones for $50 back in the day.
