Anyone have any of the Nike Elite (Authentic) NFL Jerseys?

Sorry if this is the wrong portion of the forum to create this topic, but I wasn't sure where else to put it. But I'm in the process of replacing my authentic Thanksgiving Owens jersey (finally) with a Dez Bryant authentic Thanksgiving jersey. My Owens jersey was by reebok and from what I've read on the internet, the Nike jerseys don't fit as well as the Reeboks and are more "fitted to the body" so to speak.

I'm just looking for some feedback from anyone that has an ELITE NFL jersey and how does it fit compared to the Reebok? I'll be honest, this has got me thinking on buying a used Dez Bryant reebok authentic off of ebay because I really like the way the reebok fits and I have yet to purchase any of Nike's jerseys since the switch.

(P.S. Please don't hold the fact that I'm a cowboys fan against me)

"Don't fit as well..." - said every fat NFL fan in America 8)

I don't have an authentic elite jersey, price point has kept me away, but I've tried them on and the fit is :smokin. Fat people be damned.

If you are in any type of shape or are somewhat athletic you will love the fit. It's closer to the body, tighter on the arms. Not flattering if you are not in shape.

they're a little more fit, material is way nicer though, also I own the Thanksgiving Nike Dez jersey too, I suggest getting it ASAP, you'll love it

Hmm..ok. I'm fairly thin (6'3 175) but I really liked the "loose" fit of the Reeboks. Looks like I'll have a decision to make. Either way, I NEED an authentic Dez jersey before the season starts.

I wish I could just change the letters on the Owens jersey to "Bryant." But then I'd have to change the '81' to '88.'

I appreciate the feedback.

where did you get that gif from in the avi?

Got it from one of the cowboys forums I frequent. I have it saved to my computer. Love it though. Brushing his shoulders off, telling these fools "i aint worried bout nuttin."

Can send it to you if you'd like when I get home (Currently at work).

I'm 6'1 165, they run big. I have a sz 48 btw and it's a tad big.

for some reason these jerseys fit me weird in the arm pit area.

I've been wanting a Browns jersey for a while and I got one last week in TJ Maxx - reduced to $20. (Cribbs hence why it was so cheap).

The armpits are really low so you kind of have to hike it up a bit to get your arms above your head - I figure it's because you're supposed to be wearing pads so that would lift the armholes up a couple of inches.

I picked up a Patrick Willis size XXL at the Nike Clearance store here in the Bay Area (San Leandro)

got it for $29, retail on the tag says $99.

I love it, looks a tad big, XL would probably fit perfect, but it was the only one they had left. I'm 6"4 250 lbs

yeah please send that to me when you get a chance, I need that

is there a way i can send it via PM? and if so, how?

otherwise I can send it via email

EDIT: So the general consensus is that they are more fitted than before?

Been wanting to pick some up as well... Anyone here close to my height/weight (5'9" 185) what size should I get? I was a large on the baggy reebok replicas and I wear larges on almost anything else

These are more fitted apparently so it depends on how you want it to feel mayb? Seems like regardless of size though, the armpit part is more fitted.

Anyone owning a light colored Nike Elite NFL jersey, can you speak to the water-repellency of the jersey? Specifically are you seeing it dampen / darken in the rain?

I'm about to add to my Seahawks jersey collection (2 Limited, 1 Elite all dark home color), and go with the alternate Wolf Grey, but checking to see if it would survive the rain in the native PNW climate or not.

Thanks!
