entry level luxury cars.... EDIT: I DO NOT want one. just want people's opinion.

First of all, as a car enthusiast i like all cars of makes and models, and honestly if you havent driven the car you should have no judgement. Second of all if you have NO car, your opinion is automatically void, i dont care how many articles you've read on which makes. Third of all, quit worrying about wtf someone is ENJOYING and get yourself to where you dont need to worry about "entry level" /rant

He may be happy with it but again that doesn't mean it was a wise choice economically.

Again idc what the reasons are I just believe entry level luxury is a rip off bc one is paying for the badge more than anything else
It's apples and oranges, that logic can apply toward anything. For example, people choose to buy "branded" foods over generic products even though it's economically wiser to buy the latter, which nutrition wise is generally the same and may even be sold larger in quantity. People enjoy the "taste" or "badging" of these branded products better thus having them sell even if they may not be as economically favorable or copious in quantity/features.

Tasting better is subjective though, specs aint.

People who spend every dime to buy a "entry level luxury car" or an old luxury car so they can say "all I whip is foreign" are ignorant.

Perfect example: I know a dude who has a 09 328i (got it in 2011), currently has no job, never made over 12/hr, no degree, never moved out of his parents basement...he's 24. Has a BMW logo as a tattoo (i'm dead serious) and posts his car on instagram every day.

Personally, I wouldn't buy a "luxury" (Bimmer, Audi, Benz, Infiniti) until I can legitmately afford the one I REALLY want with all the stuff I really want....plus I don't like small cars and most entry level luxury cars are..small. However, for some people that car they really want is a 1-series or C-Class, if so, more power to them.

But if you're spending your money on a nameplate for the sake of boosting your self esteem, not because you truly even like or can afford the car (i.e. would u buy it at the same price if the nameplate said Hyundai instead of Benz?) then you're a very sad individual.

My 2 cents.

Like others have said, most of us generally don't care but when someone tries to stunt in an entry level it gets noticed

It's not like we're going around talking crap to all the entry level drivers but when I see someone pullup to a valet with a 5 year old 328 and diddy bop after they get out I'm going to laugh

I stated my opinion that I think entry level luxury is a waste of money. Doesn't mean I judge those who drive them. ... only the ones who try to stunt and I'm laughing not upset or bothered
I guess I just don't get it. I don't care if dude doing the Diddy dancing gif he can have it. Let that boy cook lol. That stuff isn't worth it but I really feel people at times have to use stuff like that to feel better about themselves. If dude had an Aventador and did the same thing a lot of the same people would have something to say then too. That's why I don't get it but hey everything isn't meant for me to get so enjoy. We just have to agree to disagree unless dude trying to come at you personally then I could understand.

Most new luxury cars are leased anyway... especially in NY.

Have you ever been driving on a highway, noticed how many BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Audi vehicles there are, and wondered how so many people have the money to buy all those fancy cars? (I have.) Well, in many cases the drivers may not have the money because they don't own the cars!

Industry-wide, leases comprise about a fifth of all new vehicle registrations, but within the luxury market, lease penetration is more than twice as high at 45%. Three premium makes: BMW, Infiniti and Mercedes-Benz, actually have national lease rates at or above 50%.

Furthermore, several popular compact premium cars have lease rates above 60%, with the Mercedes-Benz C-Class approaching 70%. Leasing is not limited to smaller vehicles, as all five of the leading large premium sedans have lease rates above 50%. Two of every three 7-Series are leased.

Please take your oral cavity off of my penile region, the bicycle you are referring to is worth one thousand dollars.

Regardless of the dollar value of vehicle you may be driving, I can assure you that I have more money in my bank account.

Your best course of action would be to retreat because you are looking like a young woman who regularly follows a pop music group or other celebrity in the hopes of getting to know them.

I drive a 2012 Audi A3 TDI. It's paid off. I bought it because it's fantastic to drive, safe, and gets 40+ mpg. It only cost me about 2k over a comparably equipped Golf TDI which was worth it for me for better interior and exterior looks and better dealer service. Not everyone or even a majority buy these cars to stunt or show off. I've driven 3 and 5 series many times and the 3 series is a tighter, much sportier and fun car. I'd take one over a bloated automatic 5 series any day.

NY is the car lease capital of America.
For good reason.  They have some messed up streets

, I don't blame anyone for leasing
