entry level luxury cars.... EDIT: I DO NOT want one. just want people's opinion.

OK, slugger. Keep dreaming about pushing a M5. One day....one day. Sick life, bro.
rofl id take an m3/m4 over an m5 anyday anyways

ive driven all sorts of cars from rust buckets to maseratis meanwhile the only time you prob even got a first person pov of a c300 is on youtube

Why? The M5 has more power, larger, more luxurious, and is more expensive.

Cheap ***.
m5 is a sedan

when you guys try to use arguments out of context it just makes you look foolish

- We're on a forum where most of us are fortunate to own more shoes than the common man/woman & most of you are trying to come-off as Modest Mindys talking about living within your means; when in retrospect, most of you should actually be saving and/or appropriately investing. (Always amusing to see NTs 'financial advisors' at 'work' as they apparently have the recipe for success and/or know-how on how to live life accordingly all while proving nothing of their actual worth.)

- Only a finite amount of members truly utilize the technology found within their footwear so I think it's safe to say that most of NT makes purchases from mostly an aesthetic standpoint, no? Footwear & automobiles are on a different spectrum, but there is still a direct correlation regarding the two. If not, why not just purchase that equally comfortable pair of Sketchers, Keds, etc. that is also somewhat aesthetically appealing? They can also get you from Point A to Point B, correct? (A major difference in all this is that the 'luxury' shoe is more 'affordable'.) The irony from this is that the car thread is littered with members that are clueless and/or bitter while proclaiming a more 'bang for your buck' theory assuming that everyone that owns an entry-level vehicle is trying appear wealthy and/or should do ________ with their finances...

- Not everyone is penny-pinching to pay for their 3-series, C Class, etc. (i.e. Everyone's situation is not like your 'friend' that lives in a s**thole making ends meet. Doesn't make it much different from most of your situation(s) as you, more or less, only substituted the car for shoes.)

- ________'s priorities are not your priorities...

- It's better to be the poorest of the rich than the richest of the poor...

The psychology and location behind car purchases is fascinating. In Germany they offer a 316, 318, 320, 330, 335 and the M3 + some diesel variants (see they don't even offer the "lower" half of the lineup in the US). German's are very pragmatic about the purchase of their cars. Petrol is very expensive so some people just go for the most efficient engine. In addition base level in Germany doesn't have a radio and no climate control. Also the car will have cloth seats with a manual gearbox. People don't buy these cars to stunt because you don't get props for the badge over there. This is why they don't offer all the options over here like they do over there (every BMW over there is built to buyer spec so the odds of seeing two identical cars is slim to none). A lot of emotional decision making in the US. I'm willing to bet the cardiologist had a good reason to buy the C300. The sound of closing a door on a Toyota is not the same of that of any Mercedes, straight like that. The engineering approach is not even comparable.

But if you're about that life, why not just get the M6?

At that point, just get a Lambo or a Ferrari.

BMW is just an entry level make anyway.

But I'm saying, at that point, just buy a plane.

Cars are just entry level means of transportation

what don't you get about the fact that THE DOCTOR DOESN'T GIVE A **** ABOUT HIS CAR? you dummies are so stupid. what he drives is like #1000 on a list of important things to him. yet you broke boys put a cars displacement and MSRP as like the biggest thing in your life.

so why are you in this thread? clearly i must have a struck a nerve here

OP made this thread for opinions on entry level luxury cars and i gave mine
id choose a 335 or c350 over a 328 or c300 and i gave my reasons why

yet you keep ridin extra hard for this doctor you dont even know for some reason

I told myself i wouldn't start in this thread but since so many people are reading i might as well share some information.

Just because YOU would choose the 335 and the c350 over their respective "lesser models" doesn't mean that is what is best for the whole driving world.

If i was looking into buying a benz C-class or not.(SLK is a convertible two door pass on both) It would be the c300 because it is the only one that comes with a true manual ******. Yea the c350 has more hp but so what if i cant go thru the gears?

So if someone wants a manual transmission they are (cheap, didn't do their research, cant afford the c350)?

Yet this is coming from someone who wanted to wear a LV belt to a interview. Im sure there are options 10 times better for half the price of your belt but you being the great informed shopper you are definitely did your research and were well aware of that before buying your belt.

it works for MOST cars. seriously

where is my guy Monday to make sense of this all.

the money you savin on gas and expensive maintenance/insurance you can easily do this to a camry

_'s don't know what a set of wide wheels, coilovers, and a lip kit will do to a car

Is the average person buying a camry accord etc gonna slam it and put bbs wheels on it? Why cant you do the same thing to a base model benz/bmw?

And also, what is the difference between a fully loaded camry and base entry level luxury?

haha Germany: would not live in but would visit/10

If you're talking about the G sedan, then there is no "downscale" equivalent in Nissans lineup

Looks are one (subjective) thing, but if you're referring to technical specs or performance (you might not), then yourre not very well versed in auto knowledge. The G has much to offer over Nissan sedans and offers a very different drive experience (especially the rwd sport trims)

You own either a Nissan or Infiniti, right?

Obviously you can say the All Wheel Drive or the RWD G sedan, but why would they make a Nissan like that? Oh they do...it is called a G37/Q50

Like I said, yes the All Wheel Drive or the RWD G sedan are 2 platforms that they have over Nissan sedans, but if you want them, you have to go up. I don't see a Camry/Avalon or Accord with All Wheel Drive or RWD...you have to go up to either the TL (Acura) or IS-series (Lexus)...which are the higher end brands of the companies. Might as well bash VWs and buy an Audi then, right?

I have a 2011 Maxima SV Premium and my wife has a 2013 Altima 3.5 SL loaded. I have friends with G35s and G37s and I even considered an M35/45 when looking at cars. If you take out the RWD option, that they have....please show me what the G, of all Infinitis to list, has over the Maxima?

We have the rear power shade, backup camera, navigation, BT phone, BT audio streaming, Panoramic Roof, heated/cooled seats, woodgrain (if you want that), Rear climate control, and many other features.

Hell my wife's new loaded Altima has lane departure sensors/alarms, backup sensors, Google Points of Interest, SMS messages read aloud to you and can view them on the screen, illuminated kick plates, & puddle lights under the car.

There are very few reasons for the AVERAGE consumer to buy one over a Maxima if you are going for luxury and a great price for what you are getting. That is unless you want to say you have an Infiniti, which I know a lot of people out there like to do.

Obviously if you are a gear head and want to mod the car, then you might opt for something in RWD or 6MT flavors.

was about to say this

no shots at stillin at all

but ninja callin a car a bm car is actually not an opinion, its a proven fact particular models are marketed towards particular demographics

He's knocking the car because it's not what he defines as a Ninjahood approved whip

I bought it because I wanted something small and to get around in bad weather

This guys idol drove a pink Range which is cool to him; compact SUV's are the future hence the heavy Evoque advertising on NFL programming last season. They are targeting young males as well now hence the popularity of the Evoque and Ford Escape being a #1 seller this past year.

everything gets modded, b.

They're dudes with modded kia's, fords, chevy's, saturns, etc etc

ehh. you can get a fully loaded srt8 challenger for 50K. i will take that over any bmw any day of the week
