The fact that you're sitting here trying to justify why a domestically built car is cheaper than an imported branded "luxury" car for what you get, even if its a base model is laughable.



There is no bad reason why a person would prefer the BMW over the Charger. The BMW DOES have more of a luxury feel, ride, and presence to it. The whole ******g design is more elegant than the Charger fam. The charger is aggressive and boxy, while the BMW is more sleek and reserved.

:smh: The look of frustration on mom's face says it all. And son is dead-*** sitting there trying to justify having 300+ kicks and his mom needs more space. HOARDERS NT Edition. Son was struggling for reasons why a car is a bad investment "I have to keep it looking good" :lol: I'm not knockimg dude for not wanting to get a vehicle b/c it's not a necessity in his location, but continuing to buy shoes behind moms back when she's already expressing concerns about needing more space is simply inconsiderate.
 
Some people dont want a SRT Ninja. To some people that is not their style. Most do not want to deal with the terrible mpg a Hemi has. Plus when you buy a bimmer isnt the first 3 years of maint. included? Just like you are an american car guy, there are people who like luxury brand european cars.

This constant telling of how people should spend their money by multiple members in here is ridiculous.

da hemi shuts off 4 if its 8 clyinders when its being driven Conservatively,

and as you can see by da FACTS, da SRT comes with more luxury features that a base model luxury 5 series, all while giving you

a WHOLE lot more for a whole lot less money.

da more you boil it down to da facts, da most da final answer comes from something that doesn't attribute itself with logic= badge flossing.

(Considering you pick & choose what you like to respond to as the posts you dismiss completely obliterate the filth coming from your keyboard, I'm assuming this will be easy. Basically, you go for scraps as they're the easiest to refute.)

If you want to talk luxury, we can discuss the F10's much better weight distribution while having an elongated frame reminiscent to that of the higher-end F01. (i.e. They share the same platform.) This might be difficult for you to digest, but luxury isn't based on how fast you can go nor how many gadgets & trinkets you have. So you've said leather isn't standard 2-3 times already? We get it. If you would've actually been in one with leatherette, you'd notice that it does not feel cheap nor fit outside of BMW's reputation. If Coral Red leather came in leatherette, I'd have no problem opting for that so your rather ancient mentality on imitation leather is skewed. Literally, BMW's goal of upholding their heritage is founded on providing effortless features within a simplistic approach...

I'm just posing the question as the N20 (as well as an array of other BMW Group engines) cleaned-up at the 2012 International Engine of the Year Awards. I believe it was also in Wards Top Ten of 2012 as well. Looks like your big & bulky 6.4 is fluff in the grand scheme of things...

The only thing I can say about you is that you're consistently inconsistent. I'd take the bet that you'll be repeating this nonsensical babble in 5-years trying to influence the new batch of NTers on how to live without having any actual accomplishments of your own.

For someone that has endlessly gone on a campaign in regards to European cars in terms of poor maintenance & reliability, you certainly have not done your homework...

If you stopped skimming through the Dodge line-up pamphlet looking at basic specs', you'd realize why Charger SRT8s simply do not sell compared to their counterparts...

Dude I am more than familiar with the Hemi. Been having one since 06. First was a 5.7 which had the mds and the mileage on it was trash. Loved the jeep but its gas mileage was ****. Now I have the 6.1 wk which doesnt have the mds. But the new 6.4's do have it unless you get a new 392 chally that is a manual, then it wont have it. I dont buy my vehicles for good mpg but please dont come in here saying a hemi gets decent gas mileage bc of mds. Real world mpg sucks. Mds is only constant when driving on stretches of road otherwise its constantly in and out, therefore being useless and doing nothing other than making a shudder sound. Which is widely known to occur.

Like I said some people dont like being in the gas station a lot.

That MDS really only works on the highway. In city situations you do too much starting and stopping for it to kick in. Even babying the throttle I still only get 16 mpg tops in the city and 22 on the highway.

And once you get Da Hemi you ain't driving conservatively nowhere.

I average 14 mpg since I've had the car.

go ask merc fans why da s65 still has a 5 speed (SAME ONE in da SRT8) while some of da other trims have moved to a 8 speed..

here's a hint: transmisson tolerance limit.

are you really gonna go da awards route which are slanted against pushrod engines because they are seen as "old tech"? da new corvette

has direct drive, variable timing WITH pushrods..you're gonna call that engine "not worthy" too?

You go find me a 2012 Dodge Charger SRT8 for 33 grand that isn't a salvage title. 12K in depreciation in the first year :lol: Shiit I wish it did depreciate that much because I would have one.

poeple cant buy because they prefer how the 5 series looks over the charger though? im not taking any sides btw
i know the facts are there not denying that but a lot of people buy based on looks and its a huge factor
to just say someone bought it to badge floss is ignorant and probably why a lot of people taking shots tbh

Haha! You're dumber than I thought...

The only reason why the S65 & S600 retain the 5G is due to the fact that the 7G can only handle 542 lbs. of torque. Other than, I'm sure Google will lead you to several forums describing the 5G as "Ok", "Alright", "Dull Witted", etc...

Please direct me to stating leatherette is superior to real leather on an SRT8? Does this tactic work for you? Simply put, child. Leather is not a priority for many. I wanted a specific color, but it was not offered in leatherette. That's not a result of finances, but choice. The difference between you & I is that I can actually make those choices while you're in the background (from afar) telling me what I should do...

I see you're making proclamations again without actually looking at the actual lists & categories comprised within the International Engine of the Year Awards...

I own/lease several bimmers and you're telling me that in year 6, the repairs will substantially grow? Propietary parts are, of course, more expensive than universal parts to that of a Honda, Toyota, etc., but a money pit? Nope! Again, making false claims as usual.
