entry level luxury cars.... EDIT: I DO NOT want one. just want people's opinion.

Thanks sniper for the chart. These SRT'S are not cheap on maintenance and gas.

I easily spend 5-600 a month on gas. My brakes (rotors and pads) need to be replaced every 20k because it eats through brakes like cookie monster goes through cookies. And my diff and tcase fluid needs changing every 10k because the diff and tcase breaks down the fluid so fast. You cant have that broken down fluid in there so long because the parts will wear faster. Its discussed frequently on the srt forums.

Every person buys a car for different reasons. Let them buy what they want! This salesman type talk for reasoning to buy a car is insane. Lol

Leather is not a priority for many. I wanted a specific color, but it was not offered in leatherette. That's not a result of finances, but choice. The difference between you & I is that I can actually make those choices while you're in the background (from afar) telling me what I should do...
wait a min...did you just say leather is not a priority on many who's buying a LUXURY CAR?!

see i KNEW i was gonna find one of these owners with da feelings hurt.

like that chart says, da maintenance cost is SUPER back loaded, so once BMW pulls da chair from under you da price BALLOONS far more then da SRT8.

SRT8 simply offers WAY MORE for WAY LESS...and guess what? HOLD ITS VALUE alot better then da entry level luxury 528i...wanna look like you goofed?

check this out.

I don't understand people still assigning a history to a person simply because they drive a used luxury car, and the stories all revolve around "stunting". They don't get the credit to have different variables and factors to their decision like you folk. Ya'll got deeper issues if that's your first thought when you someone in one of those whips.
I am speaking from personal experience. I live and intermingle with the lower middle class. I know a number of people who wear $200 sneakers, $100 dollar jeans, Gucci belt, and have a $600 dollar phone... but live in a 1 bedroom apartment with 5 people, bills are all late, and only have $34.87 in their back account. They use those material things to give off the impression that they are doing better than they really are. A used luxury car is used to "stunt" in that same manner.

if someone could only afford an entry level benz and they want a benz.....they'll get the benz.....not the fully loaded corolla. A lot of people don't care about value, collating facts and stats, and getting the most bang for their buck, women especially. Some simply want to identify and be associated with a luxury brand.

Why did I know Ninja was going to be in here

I want my next car to be a BMW. I wouldn't get a 3, because I'm not a small car person. Some people like smaller cars and prefer a 3 over a 7 series. When I was younger I thought that way about entry level cars, but now I don't care.

Ummmm no, a used car can also be used to eliminate the depreciation from new cars or they might have just gotten a good deal.

yeah im gonna have to agree with this also, when it comes to cars "newer isn't always better".

...You can tell who in here doesn't drive or hell even knows anybody that drives  The gas mileage on "da Hemi" is crap, that "4 cylinders shuts off" doesn't mean a damn thing unless you spend all your driving time coasting on cruise control at 55.

its like this B. BMW=iPhone. American Muscle = android.

I've owned a 4s when it first dropped in 2011 and traded it evenly for a Galaxy Nexus a year later. Now I'm due for an upgrade. Check the market value on both phones. The 4s goes for around $200 the nexus $50. Mind you, these are phones that were top of the line at the time. and yes the nexuus has better raw specs. If I kept the4s, I could be paying NOTHING for my next phone. But naw, I gotta take the depreciation hit on the nexus and cough up. Never again man, never again.

There's a reason I phones hold their value for so much longer

Bruh and you know I respect your knowledge on cars. We've had many good debates and discussions on here about them.

But damn man, that American Muscle Kool Aid is strong. and you know you cars well enough to appreciate a good car. I've never seen you once choose import over american

It's clear he Googles all his info but has no first hand experience

Hence how he always avoids answering the question of how he supposedly drives all these whips on da reg

Homeboy posts a million pics trying to gain that e-fame but I haven't ever seen a pic in a Challenger

last time i checked? power wasn't a hindrance to da product. luxury cars once upon a time meant you wasn't COMPROMISING

because da damn thing is a luxury car.

you got a 528i nearly 50 thousand dollars that's weaker in every facet to da srt8, from da luxury features to

to power train, and it cost way less, PLUS its gonna lost you WAY LESS as da car gets older and maintenance become

more of a factor..

smells like when lexus came with da LS and shook up everything moving..thats why da charger is doing da numbers thats its doing

because people see da value in da product like that.

no body here could even tell me what da 528i does that da srt8 can't and its worth more money other then "well its a BMW"

horrible comprehension with alot of ya...its no wonder you got idiots that can be sold screen printed champion shorts for 10000% surcharge.

too much equity being put in superficial stuff like brands, and not enough emphasis on actual content, spec, performance, and value.

first how,, only lames post pics of cars that ain't theirs...if thats da cloth you cut then you thats you,

second, i got access to these cars because alot of my fellow dominicans be in da streets getting it, and they all got these toys that i get

da privilege of riding with, da 528i isn't a space ship b, there's at least a couple parked in my block daily.

third, "googling info" is all fact related because it comes VERBATIM from da experts that make a living doing this on a daily basis, so

if im SONNING you with those facts, dont blame me, blame yourself for being craptacular at doing homework when it comes to automotive

information and know how..ite b, so when car and driver says "da current gen charger got all da american muscle about it but

when composed drives JUST LIKE a 5 seires" imma be more incline to believe that, then a dude who caught a sodium overload when

he realized his evoque was land rover's foray into a female demographic.

thats because we're not in da 90's anymore...any car these days a foreign auto maker got da big 3 got a answer for it, thats as good

a quality and killer price to match, word to da recent JD power's list.

and thats not to say i dont appreciate some foreign cars, but a cat like me looks at da big picture.
