i been thinking about getting a suede pair, don't think the cholo's would harass me anymore now that it's 2013, but if everyone's gonna be on these because of that verse i might have to pass

anybody know who else is getting these besides that Hype place in AUS?

Yeeaa some. mayne u know that's that timeless look to them. Only place in cali where the eses is on some fly **** is the mission. cats in the mission stay banging with Js, trus, gucci belts and chains/jewelry on :rofl:

yup hipsters definitely have taken over the mission. all the gang injunctions and elevated cost of living has forced a lot of latins to move out. its a good tho bruh how many decades has the mission been a war zone? ****** need to quit trippin off the petty **** and go get their paper.

plus i seen some baaaad hipster snow bunnies in the mission. :smokin

I kind of wish I'd have picked up a pair of the Fly Motion Cortez when they dropped a few years back, most people here seem to hate when Nike refreshes old styles with modern tech, but looking at pictures of them now I think I'd have enjoyed getting a pair.

Yea i heard its actually snow bunnies out there now, I remember back when I was still in they bay I had to get my snow bunnies in walnut creek, san ramon, marin county and **** lol.  Yea I always had the mentality of "I don't bang for blue or red I bang for bread".
 
The dopemans never went anywhere... Idk what Nike is doing with all these ridiculous quilted versions and prices...

They need to re-drop that Forrest Gump colorway tho
 
Mane idk about you but i seen blacks and latinos wearing Cortez's we call them Dope Runners. I used to rock the Black & White back in middle school.

Just got my pair in and the sizing is throwing me off.  I wear a size 12 in most shoes (so ordered a size 12) and when I compared these to my Kobe V size 12, they were a full size shorter.  BUT, when I put them on, I could easily wedge my thumb (not quite two fingers though) by the heel.  Width wise is completely fine though.

When I put on my Kobe V's, they no finger gaps - they fit snug.  I think it may wise to go .5 size down, at least length wise.
