Nike Cortez Comeback?

i thought all different types of people watch the news that's my point this brought the attention to more than "beasts" & "sneaker heads" in my opinion Forrest Gump is a iconic film and people love to buy things related to iconic things?

wish i had the extra money & that these were more of a gr release being i'm a big fan of film & snkrs in general but have always liked the cortez since i owned a patent leather pair in middle school.

Eff Nike man! I got on at 7:00, sold out. Now on ebay there's a ton going for way above retail. They need to stop limiting things to drive the resellers away.
 
Refreshing NDC nonstop, and so far a 4 and a 4.5 came available. Not sure if I can fit my foot in there.
 
Retail or bust. Never paid more than prob 100 for any dopeman since 2001. Oh well. Congrats to those who wanted and copped
 
Seriously, I won't pay over 100 for these! 100 was pushing it, but i like them so I was willing. So bummed right now.
 
SMH... Ah well these aren't as dope as the Nylon '09's so I'll just wait another few years till they re-drop those.

Crazy that these sold. There may be some restocks soon, as I left one in my cart this morning and checked it out an hour ago (maybe some others are stuck in carts - or I'm getting that one canceled!).
 
I was able to get them from SNS this morning. I clicked 9.5, waited a few secs and then I tried adding to my cart. 9.5 was gone in seconds it seemed. I was able to get a size 9, but ****, dunno if they will even fit. I'm a 9.5 in AF1s/Dunks. Guess I gotta compare the length of the FGs with my other sneakers.
 
I've got to admit, I'm kind of impressed that Nike managed to hype up a Cortez so much that it was an immediate sellout.
 
people are paying 200+ bucks for the gumps is beyond insane! i couldn't have imagined a cortez being anywhere around 100 bucks.nike is truly able to have their way with consumers.
