The Expendables 3 - 4th Film Expected in 2018

i guess i was sleeping or iuno but tbh ronda was looking kinda good in the movie... especially in that club/bouncer scene.... id let her figure four lock and pin me down...

Which one? Where she was introduced and beat up some guys in a dress in that club? It was w/e not comparable to the let down of the final scene.
 
I thought that JCV fight was a letdown but that Mel fight was horrible. Ronda's fight scene at the end wasn't that bad. But they club fight was bad.

Saw this the other day, it was a solid throwback action flick. Bit while watching the movie I noticed that with all the bodies dropping there was no blood whatsoever. A couple days later I found out the movie was rated PG-13. They neutered it.

I agree on Banderas stealing the show, he was hilarious. But all that talk about him being a master killer he ain really do anything super crazy.

Bombed at the box office. $16.2million for the weekend. The leak killed any chances of a decent box office return. Was streamed 2 million+ times. Homeland Security is investigating the leak and Lions Gate has sued BitTorrent.
 
havent seen it yet. MIGHT go see it tonight.

i really wanted this one to do very very very well at the BO cuz of Snipes return.

all that talk about everybody wanting him to be in it when he got out.

then he actually got the part.

and nobody supported it.

the leak is one thing

but im reading that the movie is just plain bad.

why make it PG-13 . i bet hindsight they probably like "if it was gonna leak we Minus Whale have made it Rated NC-17 lol"

somebody in this thread called it the BLADE 3 of the franchise

which is absolutley horrible cuz Snipes was in Blade 3 smh, i really aint want him to be in 2 Blade 3s

CraveOnline recently got a chance to sit down with Sly Stallone about his recent action-packed outing in Expendables 3. During the chat, Stallone discussed how he felt about the film's PG-13 rating, “I believe it was a horrible miscalculation on everyone’s part in trying to reach a wider audience, but in doing such, diminish the violence that the audience expects. I’m quite certain it won’t happen again.” If you are not aware, the ratings of the two previous installments in the franchise were both rated-R. Apparently Stallone didn’t like that the third film was PG-13, and he shared his opinion on why he liked a rated-R film more, “because in an R-rated film it is difficult to believe that none of the heroes die. I personally just believe that the characters become identifiable and their demise could put a dark cloud over an audience exiting the theatre after seeing the film. But that may change in ‘Expendables 4’…”

I'm seeing commercials for the blu-ray/dvd that there's an unrated version for Expendables 3 :nerd: I find it hard to see the unrated version makes it better.

I can see them overreacting for 4 and killing a whole bunch of ppl just to justify the R rated version. Roster is bloated imo. All these new faces aint attracting a new audience or demographic. Bring in more old legends and icons.

Right now 2 is at the top. They need to bring in Jackie Chan and stop limiting Jet Li in these movies. They need a showdown.
 
Going to buy the blu ray since I got the other two also I did enjoy the movie even tho that last fight sucked.
 
I hope they make another one. for what it is, it's one of the most entertaining action movie series to come around in a while

Exactly. If u are expecting a strong storyline w/ in depth character development, you're missing the point of these movies. 3 was decent and in hindsight realized that there wasn't any realy gore in this one once yall mentioned the PG-13 rating. This franchise can't flourish w/o the gore

I dunno about that. After Jackie started getting older he's been in some pretty dark Chinese movies.

Word to the one where he's a homeless man and there's a bunch of prostitutes in the flick.
