i thought BE was very successful the first few seasons. there was a lot of buzz and they got all the praises and accolades.
just that true detective X GoT smashing records, guess Hbo aint too concerned about BE

I've heard similar from all the people I tried putting on to this show.
Too much time wasted on Margaret's character after season 1
Believe it or not more than a few people told me that they tuned out after season 2, after Jimmy got wacked.

I particularly didn't like how cartoony they made Gyp seem in season 3, but I thought season 4 cleaned it up with Dr. narcisse and agent Knox.

Overall sadly disappointed that we're only getting 8....hopefully they make them memorable!

A very bad Season 3 was why I stopped watching. The first two seasons were perfect. When Jimmy died people went with him.
