NFL 2013 Predictions Thread...

JPZ, I pick Detroit at 2 because they have a real RB now, and a last place schedule to face.

Lions still have no DBs and are immature, undisciplined and inconsistent.

Mvp : Big Ben
Roys : Eddie Lacy/Kenbrell Thompkins

Superbowl: Packers vs Steelers

Geno Smith stays in the league as long as Pat White (not including this camp)

browns will be better than the raiders.

alex smith will be the most frustrated qb in the afc west.

packers and steelers won't make the playoffs.

mark sanchez will break a nail and miss 9 weeks.

saints will be third in the nfc south.

superbowl will be boring.

SUPERBOWL CHAMPIONS patriots

ROOKIE OF THE YEAR : kenbrell thompkins

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER : CALVIN JOHNSON

They did play hard last year.

Pittsburgh is kinda stuck right now, Baltimore is in transition, and its hard for me to take the bengals seriously enough where they have 3 winning seasons in a row.

If the browns can capitalize on a last place schedule and play decent enough to steal a few divisional games the north is open for the taking this year.

Every year people drink the Chiefs Cool-Aid

I'm not even sure I agree with that, but regardless it's pretty warranted this season. I feel like there's almost a 80% chance they're going .500.

The most important position on the football field... they're going from a tandem of Brady Quinn and Matt Cassel to Alex Smith, pro bowl players all over the field despite going 2-14 (crazy actually, look up their Pro Bowl selections last season), Charles looking GOOD, and a more stable offensive line.

I'm hoping Eric Berry really takes off this year and turns heads.

I got $20 that says he's 60+ with a TD, you down?

Big Ben for MVP is a real bold one, I like it. The weapons are there and he's gonna be throwing a lot.

- Fitz puts up numbers but Houlser has the "bigger" year.
- Ravens finished tied with the Browns, 7-9.
- Saints lose twice, Falcons and Panthers.
- Everyone in the NFCE wins at least 8.

I'll have more later.

Top 5 highest rated passers will be (in no particular order):

Peyton

Brees

Brady

Rodgers

and the "bold" prediction:

Tony Romo

Not that QB rating means a helluva lot, but I'm using it here.
