NFL 2013 Predictions Thread...

Texans are a top 3 seed in the AFC and have a realistic chance of making it, prob the weakest out of Denver and Pats :rolleyes

Yea but it's bein biasd and doesn't make sense.

While a handful of posts have the bengals in the Super Bowl and they can't even beat the texans :rolleyes

You really gon sit here and say you're not extremely biased?

You know the Texans ain't winning a damn thing with Schaub. C'mon son.

I'm not sure where this Bengals love is coming from either.

SF certainly was good last year, weren't they? And the Texans mos definitely do have the Bengals' number the last two years in the playoffs, huh?

another season, another delusional cowboy fan, etc...
Cowboys fans are seriously insane.  Some of the most delusional of any fanbase, ever.

-Cowboys 7-9

-Eagles win 5 games at most

-Browns 7-9

-Bengals win AFC North

-Saints suck again, because their defense is still terrible.  Rob Ryan fired again?

I don't know why it's so hard for some of you to figure out why things are the way they are and why you can't think for yourselves.

Shoes either does what he does for shock value or he really is delusional. Either way, most of you eat it right up and he loves it. Secondly, make your own damn predictions before criticizing others'. Most of you won't because you have a fear and the likelihood of being wrong, but you like to nitpick when someone thinks for themselves.

And the Bengals have a very strong team. Hard Knocks is cool and all, but that defense is stout as all hell and on offense they have weapons with a quarterback who is solid at distributing. The AFC is weak and the Bengals have a GREAT shot.

^ 49ers are a top 5 NFL team. They didn't have some lucky plays or get on a hot streak. I don't think Baltimore makes the playoffs but to say SF is dumbfounding. That team is so ******g stacked on both sides of the ball. Not even sure why this needs an explanation.

Niners are good but so ******g stacked come on now

Their receivers suck until Crabtree comes back and their secondary sucks.

Receivers suck? Boldin and Davis? Crabtree will be back and they have a top 5 defense. I have no idea how that team isn't stacked but ok chief

So stacked at WR and in the secondary that their scrambling to find depth and replacements?

Consider VD a WR all you want, but then they sorely lack at TE.

select divisional predictions:

AFC East:
Pats
Jets
Doormat 1
Doormat 2

NFC West:
Seahawks
Niners
Rams
Cards

NFC East:
Cowboys win on tiebreaker

Josh Freeman will not be starting come week 10.
Russell Wilson and Kap take a "step back"
Jay Cutler will lead QBs in INTs as he continuously tries to throw the ball through three defenders to get it to Marshall.
Gronk will finish the season leading TEs in touchdown receptions.
Suh suspended at least once.
Suggs will cry about officiating in a game at least twice and pick up where his whining mentor left off.

Strong bias on here. I think Dallas will be better but no way am I picking them to make the championship game or better. But at the same time those picking them to go last in the division as just as biased as the people picking them to make the Superbowl .

How in the world will they be worst than last year? They went 8-8 losing 6 starters on defense, having Demarcus Ware playing with one arm for 8 games, only having one above average player on the Oline, having the worst running game in the league all while having an extremely tough schedule.

With an easier schedule, a much improved Oline, a better Dez Bryant and those starters back on D playing in a scheme that fits them more I have no idea how you can logically say they will be worse than 8-8.

Yall trying to say basically adding Sean Lee, Bruce Carter, Jay Ratliff, Orlando Scandrick, a competent safety and a healthy Demarcus Ware for another 6-14 games over Ernie Sims, Dan Conner, Sean Lissermore, and Micheal Coe, along with a better Dez Bryant and the progression that the #1 defensive player in the draft entering his second year in the league will bring makes a team worst    Stop hating

Don't call Cowboys fans bias and then proceed to straight up hate on the Cowboys  all I'm saying.

Anyways.

RGIII plays 16 games

Dez Bryant finishes top 3 in yards and touchdowns

Eagles win 7 games

Brady throws 32+ tds to a bunch of #4 receivers

Broncos only win 10 games

Ravens finish third in the division/miss playoffs

Jets win 2 games

Bengals finish first in the AFC

Miami makes the playoffs

Seahawks win their division

Seahawks over Falcons in the NFC championship game

Texans over Pats :smile:lol) in AFC championship

Texans over Seahawks Superbowl

I've picked Houston three seasons in a row, this time I think I'll be right

Anquan Boldin hasn't cracked 1000 yards in 4 years.

It amazing to me that Joe Flacco is gets **** on after having a good playoff run but not doing a lot in the regular season but Anquan Boldin's playoff performance got people thinking its 2008 again.

- Eagles are much better than people think and win 7 games, starting with a shootout vs the Skins week 1
- Patrick Peterson scores 3 offensive touchdowns
- RG3 misses at least 2 games
- Geno Smith and Sanchez both start 8 games, and are equally bad
- Ravens miss the playoffs by 1 game
- Raiders win 2 games and thus get the number 1 draft pick
- Eagles lead the league in rushing
- Peyton Manning throws 40+ TD's
- Gronk only plays 4 games this season, Pats booted in their first playoff game
- Aaron Rodgers gets sacked 40 times
- aside from Bernard Pollard (who will rack up at least 5 fines) all the former Ravens who left will have rough seasons, Ed Reed will miss games, Boldin won't have 1000 yards receiving or more than 5 TD's, Kruger will just flat out stink

You think it's Boldin's fault he hasn't had 1000 yard seasons? :wow:

Boldin's playoff run has had zero impact on my thoughts about him. He's been a great receiver his entire NFL career. Let's not act like he's had bad years. The Ravens offense has been a joke for a while now and Flacco has been throwing to everyone else but him for some reason until the playoffs started. Ravens have been certified as one of the worst play calling offenses over the last few years.

Boldin has been an animal at FSU, Arizona, Baltimore and will continue with SF. He is a solid WR and easily top 15 WR in the game today

Should win home games with against a rookie QB with top defense, and team with a shaky running game with 1 big/consistent option at receiver. Things should be much different this year if they match up.

I've seen people say the NFC is wide open, and the AFC is too. Should be a good season.

The only thing I know about this season is it's gonna be ridiculously hard to make the playoffs in the NFC this year.. A few good teams are gonna be left out

Yes, it's his fault.  It's his fault because he's old.  He isn't going to get better all of a sudden.  He'll have some great games but he isn't a star anymore and definitely won't be one for a 16 game season.

I mean their best players are a linebacker and a receiver, their biggest weaknesses are their lines.  That's pretty much a recipe for being mediocre while getting media hype.

Shady McCoy MVP
Tavon Austin OPOY
Dion Jordan DPOY

CJ2K will get to 1,500
Reggie Bush HUGE numbers

Shady will be disgusting this year, hence my MVP nod

Calvin will score double digit TD's this season

Jimmy Graham will put up 1,200 and a dozen TD's again.

St Louis will be a fun team to watch

Bengals would be my "sleeper" team that suddenly rises up outta nowhere and becomes an elite team.

Jags/Raiders/Contraction will fight for Clowney, Bridgewater, and Mathews.

Dez and AJ Green will make a run at Calvin, but not their time just yet.

Julio a step behind those two.

I would move Houston up a smidge, but I don't have faith in Foster staying alive this year. But I love Ed Reed and Swearinger for them. Their defense could be very tough this year, but if Foster goes down, Schaub won't be able to absord that slack.

I'm worried about RGIII

Andrew Luck will take another step. His time is coming, SOON.

Wilson, Kaep, Cam, let's see it.

Vick has a nice year.

Gio Benard. :pimp:
