I'm on the same boat.
I transitioned to Levi's commuter jackets recently now. I still have a few TNF n heavier coats but will prolly be in the back of the closet.

Same here. It's like we went from 60° winters when I was younger to a consistent 75-80° all "winter" long.

yea I got a few pelles, all various sizes. I'm a little chunky right now so 48 fits good for me but I'd probably be a 42-44 when I slim down

i never paid over 4 and change for a pelle. Just search eBay and you will find deals from time to time. Also depends whether or not you are ok with wearing a used jacket. Thing I don't like about pelles is that they are made cheap. The stones fall off etc.

I feel u on the stones falling off. I try to stay away from stuff that is glued on. It looks nice but it never lasts long. Embroidery's I don't mind. I'm okay with wearing used stuff as long as it still looks good. If a joint is worn 5 times, who really cares? I see u are from NY? What's really poppin out there leatherwise? Been eyeing a leather motor jacket too. Gods of Mankind got some nice stuff but they way too expensive.
