What jackets yall rockin this fall/winter?

Ya can't. Be serious...

The hood doesn't dictate if a brand has died or not...maybe the hood appeal of TNF has died down, but that's just one of the demographics they target...they appeal to everyone, TNF is literally the GOAT of winter outterwear....ya need to hop off the hype bus...my dude mentioned Balmain...say no more.

No one said the brand DIED.

Said the hype died down, obviously when people think winter jacket one of the first things they think of is TNF.

Just teenagers aint really messing em with anymore.

#tbt Steeptechs with the flap down, looking like a banana. :nthat:

he can't comprehend that. It definitely fell off if u dont want to use the word died. Hyvents(although a classic) are not rocked nowadays

No dude said the brand is dead...lol

You know a brand is timeless when you can completely change the way you dress as you age and you can still find a piece from such brand that will suit your current style....ya buggin

the brand still exists, like Hilfiger, but I wouldn't say every1 in ny is rocking it, like the dude above me did

I can bet my top dollar you had no clue what Balmain was prior to Kanye consigning it....go ahead and lie :rolleyes

And yes enough people in NYC in the winter in any given neighborhood will be seen in some sort of TNF gear, weather a sweater, a parka, a down jacket, etc way more than ANY of those brands you previously mentioned....you got NY confused

No need to lie. I saw it at barneys and like the t shirts. Didn't even know(or care) that kanye was rocking it. That's something you can worry about. I like dsquared jeans, are those hypebeast jeans too?

Fam I don't care what you like

Just stop making assumptions that make you look pretty stupid...just because the hood partially moved on from a brand doesn't mean it's dead....it's laughable because if I take a trip to my old block tomorrow in the Bronx, I can prolly snap a picture of at least 6 people within a 2 block radius in some TNF gear.

whatever dude stay rockin your hyvent if u want, I can acknowledge reality, and that is north face isint at the same level it was 5 years ago

And yes, the hood does dictate fashion

LMAO ya'll ******ed. The hood dictates fashion? Thats dumbest **** i ever heard in my life. You need to get out more.

I dont wear NF but i guarantee you walk through any borough (except maybe Manhattan) you'll see a bunch of NF. It the most worn jacket in NYC by far. Sure you got dudes wearing designer peacoats, random bombers, POLO jackets, other brands, but NF is still in abundance.

NF died because YOU grew out of it. The older you get, the more $$ you get, most likely you wont buy another NF. But teenagers and young heads still wear that **** everywhere. Plus you got middle aged men and women that wear the Denali fleece on any random day.

You brought up Tommy Hilfiger. Just stop.

and this.

tnf winter outerwear is like champion, levis or timberland. sure it might be poppin at some times and not high profile at others, but it is a staple. eternal. you might not set the hood on fire wearing it, but you are forever official.

What level is that?....a multi-million successful company?...TNF is a lot bigger than the "hood"

man ya'll are clowns. North face ain't poppin and that's a fact

Dude thought because the little hoodlums he sorrounds himself with or looks up to for fashion advice ain't consigning TNF, that it means is curtains for the brand....you a fool

son stop pretending like you don't know what I'm talking about. You have an arrogance about yourself like ur above everyone else with your north face. Jacket wise, not nearly as many ppl are rockin them than they were 5 years ago. You have to be blind not to notice that. This thread is about jackets, not sweaters or gloves like you mentioned. If I'm going hiking maybe I'll rock a nf, but in these streets I'm steering clear from the hyvents. They fell off huge.

What arrogance?...you sound stupid bro...saying TNF fell off is like saying the GAP is dead or Timberland is wack, or Nike is done for....TNF is a staple brand of winter gear....outside of te hood, NOONE gives a damb what the hood wears.

Dude they fell off because YOU grew out of it. Youre surrounded by others your age and no one wears that **** anymore.

Thats your mindset right now. They are still in abundance outside of your age group though. Everyones first "expensive" jacket between 12-19 is a damn NF.
