hemi is great, but lets face it, LS ENGINE is da greatest engines of our generation, LS swaps>*

May be off topic but are Dodge Chargers any good? Not interested in da Hemi or anything just the overall car.

LS4 checking in. Ive drove ss trucks, vette and camaro and I love the Ls. My pops has had hemis since 04/05 n I keep trynna recruit him to the dark side.

swapping doesn't cost much at all especially since they are TONS of people who are doing it which keeps da cost down and they are PLENTY of kits available for alot of

cars which cuts down on alot of custom metal fabrication for da motor/transmisson mounts. plus LS engines are EVERYWHERE so you can get a reasonably used crate

from a parts yard DIRT cheap, or even get a BRAND new one at a reasonable price as well.

no ordering overpriced foreign parts for your old car, alot of is is made is da USA :nthat:

Can you go in on prices?

Each shop is different but basically

For bout 10-12 grand you can have

A LS1 with a transmission into

Most cars.. Other LS (ls9) engines

Can cost more so it also depends

On other factors.

I had a dream about having a ls1 swap in my 240. only time i ever wanted one.

They have a shop in florida that

Specializes in 240, & 300zx swaps

For ls engines.

Home Services Engine Swaps LS1
LS1 Swap Packages

Over the years we have become well recognized as one of the premier Nissan tuners in the country. We have been building, repairing, racing, and tuning Nissans for almost 20 years now and have been highly published in many national magazines.

We perform many different engine swaps on all different Nissan platforms, specially the 240SX. Widely chosen because it is light, RWD, has independent suspension, and parts are readily available. These facts make it a great drift car. When you drift you need power and although the stock KA24 engine can be made to put out decent hp numbers it doesn’t lend itself well to constant beatings associated with drifting.
One of the newest swaps that have gained popularity is the Chevrolet LS1 V8. It produces 405hp stock! More than enough hp to easily navigate a drift course and produce a ton of smoke! The following is an outline of cost for this swap package. We can also install this engine into the 240Z, 280Z, 280ZX, 300ZX, Mazda Miata, and Mazda RX7 FD3S (93-98) but pricing is a little higher. Use this as a basic guide outline but call our Sales Rep for specific cost of your project.

dont care for the LS or putting them in any cars other than chevys

Hemi all day bruh

You can DEFINITELY supercharge

Or turbo a LS safely, remember that

You can reprogram da ECM and do it

As mundane as it comes. GM sells

Da LS9 supercharger that can put

On most LS blocks.

Yea, you probably could get away with running low boost but if you plan on boosting without an engine rebuild, a better starting point would be to go with the 03 Cobra engine/blower. The ZR1 engine has forged pistons and stuff right

interesting, wish I knew more about cars.
Me too I'm so lost

You dont need to run crazy boost on

A LS or V8's in general because

These are low revving motors to

begin with. They arent screaming

4 bangers that have to rev stupid

High to make power, all da torque

Is lower on da powerband in american

V8's.
