Wrestling Thread Aug 26-Sep 8 | 9/2 RAW - Happy Labor Day

Not to mention Monday Night Football begins next week so Raw is about to be SOL......and tonight didn't help matters.
 
While I don't totally disagree with you guys on the "boring" complaints...it's only been 2 weeks since Summer Slam and 3 episodes of Raw (2 Smackdowns)! What do you really expect to happen in 3 shows?

And just think about this...if this is all a build up to Wrestlemania, you have 32 Raws/Smackdowns between Summerslam and Wrestlemania and 7 more PPV's. I see a LOT of the same stuff until Survivor Series and that's just under 3 months away!!!

Why are the announcers openly cheering for Cody Rhodes when Randy Orton won the match fair and square?

No one believes Cody is fired.
 
Honestly, why was the Big Show even so against wrestling a normal 1 on 1 match against Bryan? They made Bryan look weak as hell in that match. He got his *** kicked by a guy that wasn't even trying. Bryan beat Cena clean a couple of weeks ago and now he gets swatted around like a fly by Show? **** this.

I can't imagine this having a good payoff either. LIke the Big Show is gonna finally punch out HHH and the fans go crazy, leading to a Big Show vs. HHH ppv match:smile:x)? The last time anyone cared Big Show as a main event guy was in 1999. Nobody cares anymore. This whole thing is only dragging down Daniel Bryan.
 
It's boring because you have Show involved now is the time to push someone like Ziggler to help D Bry

The Big Show is a joke he goes from monster to caring giant to monster to caring giant

Him and Kane just need to go
 
But no one even cares about him; his gimmicks been done and used so many times that it's stall

No one believes he's some huge monster anymore; he freaking lost to pretty everyone in the WWE

I get that. I mean I've enjoyed these 'slow build' storylines before but this one just isn't that interesting right now. Not to mention my interest in the Punk/Heyman feud was vaccumed out when they put Axel in it.

Monday Night Football will be the main priority for me on Mondays for now. Still gotta catch NXT later in the week though.
 
Soooo... what's the reason behind Cody being "fired"? Does he have a side job somewhere? Is he going to have some surgery? Time off like how Jericho does? What?
 
The Triple Powerbomb isn't enough?  You need a knockout punch too?

Crying Big Show is always no buys.
