There was a good stretch of time where just about everything Ja touched turned to gold. This track was straight heat. Actually heard this on the radio the other day and it really took me back...

Looking back ja rule had a decent little run. Veni vedi vicci was a very good album, I liked rule 3:36, Pain is love was moreso on the pop side of things but was decent.

Last temptation came out in late 02 but that's around the time 50 was on that all out ja rule assault. Time flies it seemed like damn near everyone was coming at ja rule in a crazy manner throughout most of late 02/03

Say what you want about his present self, but this dude had summer anthems on deck. You knew you were hearing Ja for at least 3 summers.

Honorable mention to POV city anthem too.
