So we'll have the 6th overall pick. Today, we fired our O-Line and D-Line coaches, a good step going forward.
 
Mel Kiper released his mock draft. He has us picking UCLA LB Anthony Barr

Analysis: Three years ago the Broncos drafted Von Miller, a move that caused many to ask whether Miller would fit in John Fox's scheme. Fox was known as a 4-3 guy, and Miller seemed well-equipped physically to be a 3-4 outside linebacker. I could hear some saying the same about this pick, but (A) great players make great systems more often than the other way around, so don't get too caught up in the whole 3-4 vs. 4-3 thing, and (B) the Falcons really need a pass-rusher. Barr gives them that, as an explosive matchup problem on the edge who does more than disrupt the passing game. And he can certainly add weight.

I've seen some comparisons to Dion Jordan (Dolphins 2013 1st rd pick), Von Miller, and even Jevon Kearse. What do yall think?

Looks like we're addressing the trenches with the signings of Tyson Jackson (DE), Paul Solai (DT), and Jon Asamoah (OG). I think we may be moving to the 3-4, Jackson a 3-4 DE Will Barr or Mack be drafted at 6? :nerd:
 
Wonder how much cap space we have. Im assuming its low though with the money being paid to Ryan, Jones, & White. And the pics we gave up for Jones.
 
I'm thinking we go with Mack. But....that Saffold deal fell through for the Raiders. They'll prob go with a OT at 5. Clowney......? :nerd:
 
Hope we use hester on offense too n not just kick n punt returns. They say they will but teams always say 1 thing before hand n do something during and later.

Jones and Arenas back together. If we can get a TE to replace Tony the offense is set provided the O line steps up to the plate.


Too bad we couldnt have grabbed Talib, Revis, or Bring in the vet Champ Bailey for our secondary. Thats our other big problem
 
Schedule on page 1 is for this season ... do we need to have a new thread per season?

You guys think we can stop the Saints tomorrow? I'm a lil worried about getting pressure on Brees.

I think Trufant is gonna be a beast and I like Alford too. That D line though and them LBs ain't too got either. I think we need to look at some help next year considering this is Spoon's second season where is injured.
 
Wonder if we are gonna be the 2min drill heart attack team again for a 3rd straight season
