Christopher Nolans INTERSTELLAR (Nov 7, 2014) - Run Time = 2hrs 49mins

Might hold off and wait to see that trailer in IMAX on thursday. :pimp:

I feel like i have a pretty good idea on how the movie is gonna play out based on the trailers, so i hope Nolan can still surprise me. Either way the movie will still be great and a MUST WATCH in IMAX.

Interstellar Debuts an Interactive Site Filled with Hidden Clues

http://www.interstellarmovie.com/

The mysteries of Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar deepen today with a massive update to the film’s official site. Visitors are now greeted with messages like “Look Around You” and “The Answer Lies Above Us” as they’re granted the power to rotate a 360 degree image of one of the film’s key locations. What’s particularly intriguing, however, is that the site seems to be based on vistors’ own local time and geography, offering very different skies depending on where and when the site is accessed.

Thankfully, the die hards at the Nolan Fans forum have already put in an impressive amount of legwork, identifying some fascinating clues like a pulsating series of stars that seem to represent the historic Apollo 11 Moon landing date of July 21, 1969.

From seeing all the trailers, I'm not interested enough to sit through this. It's one of those movies were I'll need to know the ending before I commit

it seems pretty obvious now that Jessica Chastain and Casey Affleck are playing grown up versions of Matts kids. But I wonder why the black guy on the team ages so much when he's part of the mission? Maybe cause he's like Fassbender in Prometheus and watching over the team while they go into cryo.

Here's my guess at the ending

Matt finishes his mission, which takes a couple months in his time, but decades on Earth due to time dilation. Throughout the movie, he never forgets his promise to his daughter that he'll come back for her....this is the entire emotional crux of the movie (like Leo getting back to his kids in Inception), so the ending has to pay it off. I'm thinking it ends wit Matt going back to earth and finding his daughter as an old lady, on her deathbed or something, thus fulfilling his promise. Maximum feels :frown: But also a type of story thats been done time after time, so I hope i'm wrong.

After watching all the trailers I can tell Nolan put the ending scene in one of them. Just like Inception and TDK.

Anyways as usual I'm excited for this Flim and expect great things from it.

I think this will be incredible. :pimp:

But even though I think it will be a great film, I have a weird feeling that it'll be this decade's Contact which will give it some unwarranted but understandable hate. Those who seen Contact know what I'm talking about.

I could be wrong though.

Hoyte Van Hoytema for Best Cinematography Oscar :pimp:

Wally Pfister lost.

Btw is that a lowkey IE logo in there? :nerd:

To be honest, the last two trailers haven't made me more excited... but I just need to see the movie

They weren't bad trailers or anything, I loved the visuals in space and the tone of the movie, but my interest level is the same after hearing the cast and description announcement from way back. Nolan + Matthew McConaughey + Chastain + Space and I'm sold.

I am so hyped for this. And I really love Anne Hathaway in her short hair. Woah.

And Michael Caine telling Dylan Thomas' poem

Cool trailer, but i don't see how they can develop a movie about interstellar travel in a 2 hr movie.

Is that the run time, just 2 hours? He hasn't had a film that short since Insomnia and The Prestige. I thought this would at least be 2.5 hours.

I hope its 4 hours,

I love space, Nolan, MM and Anne.

Don't eeem care if my cheeks get numb from sitting so long.

^ We got some theaters around here with custom reclining seats that are padded to death. AMC branded. I have a theatre within walking distance from my house but I can't even goto it anymore after experiencing the recliners . Idk if there's a locator or anything but I'd try to find one if I were you. It's life changing .
