Finally got a chance to get them on the court today from noon -3:00 .... They felt awesome. The traction was not an issue at all for me. Lockdown fit was definitely noticeable. Cushioning is top-notch and I absolutely enjoyed the ride. No damage, rips or tears on mesh upper. Just my $0.02

Yup. Coming from a Kobe 8 you feel the cushioning right away. Big difference.

..... and you were spot on about the TTS .... forgot I wear 2 pair of elite quarter socks when I ball .... that 11.5 would not have done the trick ..... Kobe 9 Elite is a thought of the past for me now. Gotta strategically plan my attack on a few more pair as the Hyper Rev has officially been crowned my hoop shoe of choice for a while

Gonna hold out on these. Do what i did with the HDs wait for discount and use coupon. I dont need to buy more bball kicks at the moment when i have a rotation of 3 plus using my kobe 8s every now n then

Still waiting to see if these will release...

I'm probably the only guy frequenting this thread that wears these casually

^ waiting to see that colorway in person. really want to get a pair of these for ball. wearing 2011 hyperdunks and KD5s currently.

That Lakers CW on NDC has me wanting to try these. its either those are the Think Pink Pair.

Just picked up a pair and balled in them last night. They're a little narrow as there is a hot spot on the sides of my pinky toes. My right foot is slipping occasionally during cuts. Anyway I can lock the foot down better?

Probably not. Tighten up the strap go half size down but it sounds there a little tight already. I got that same issue with my pinky toe bone. I think it's more the Flywire tightening too much since the material is so light you feel the wires more compared to other shoes who have a thicker layer.

I would try a "runner's loop" on the top 2 eyelets for a better lockdown fit. As far as the hot spots on the sides of your pinky toes, I would tape them with a band aid and that should alleviate the pain.

Thanks for the runners loop haven't tried that before. So I'm presuming you then just tie your shoes as you normally do after looping it under?

Illustration of "Runners' s Loop" lacing. Keep in mind this only world's on the top eyelets. No idea how or why it works but I was introduced to this technique over 15 years ago by a marathon runner and have used it with great success ever since.
I have no slipping issues with my Hyperrevs but I'd give the runner's loops a try just to give my feet that extra lockdown during hard cuts.
