NEW BASKETBALL SHOE FROM NIKE !!! NIKE ZOOM HYPERREV . CHECK INSIDE FOR PICS,SPRING 2014...OPINI

Have to look at the number of players wearing the shoe in the NBA as well. By sheer numbers it makes sense more will be injured in the shoe.

Also, to counter my argument, wearing mine tonight and got that Bruce Bowen defense put on me on a three jumper. Completely landed on his foot and my ankle bone hit the floor. I crawled off. Wouldn't have mattered what I was wearing ( maybe my Ektio's).
Sucks to hear that you got Jalen Rosed out there but i don't think Ektio can save your ankle if you land on someone else foot. What scary is if the ankle can't bend then all the pressure will go to your knee. I rather have an ankle sprain than a knee sprain. Just play more careful next time. Not worth getting hurt over a meaningless pick up game.

Worst I've ever been Jalen'd was in my Kobe 1st :smh:

Out for 3 months |I

Feels like it was worse because of how stiff they were. I don't even know why I bought the revs knowing I've had ankle problems in the past, I just couldn't resist :wow:

Nah, Crazy, still a good shoe. I have played in them for three weeks straight and no problems. Just a guy who had no idea how to get out of the way.

Alpha - no way to avoid it. Defender thought he was great and ran out at me. Put it right under me on the landing. I am with you though, much rather ankle than knee. And I made the shot, so he can suck it.

Ice cold duke drained a 3, then crawled off the floor like a boss. I hate when people walk all the way under you after a shot.

Oh no I knew going into it there would be some risk and it hasn't bothered me at all yet. I've had more of an issue with the arch in my left foot than ankle issues in these.

lol next time should pretend like you going to shoot. Pump fake him and go to the hole.

Had my first run in these, and I really liked them. The cushion was pretty low and really smooth. The traction was pretty decent for me; nothing exceptional but I wasn't on skates like some people were talking about.

Good review from them.

You can't knock nightwing. He has changed his style over the years and has expanded his "brand" and got that following. The reviews he does seem a little more mature than KG I guess I feel like, but the production on their videos is dope. I like how they show themselves actually doing work in them at first. Dudes are actually pretty funny.

Yeah, but to me his videos seem half *** just him talking and rambling while we stare at the shoe, when he actually changes it up he starts filming outside at a park while talking and rambling. I think he maybe has a bigger following because of the amount of content (quantity not quality)

Foamersimpsons performance reviews are really good also

Anyways, want to try for the full length zoom, probably going to wait it out to get on the low
honestly nightwing had the performance reviews on lock because he dissected all the functions of the shoe, which was cool for a while, until KG started doing them

KG actually have skills and are lil homies wit a lil game which is more than most people, and its adequate to give a legit review

Foamer is a clown, dude dribbles in one spot lmao, and shoots a bunch of three pointers, aint he like 6'6 and not one dunk or nothin, and the craziest thing is his reviews sound exactly like KG's

Dead honest... I like the Hyperrev, I've been rotating them for 3 weeks now but they fall in dead last out of my 5 pair rotation.

1. XX8 SE
2. Lebron XI
3. KD VI
4. KD V elite
5. Hyperrev/D rose 3.5

I like the shoe, but 1. The traction isn't all that great and 2. They don't have the flash factor.

IMO, I would rather pay an extra $10 and get the KD VI

Not to get off topic, but I wasn't impressed with either the KD VI or the KD V Elite.  I got both for below retail too.

Sucks too because I wanted to like them and I want at least one KD shoe to play in, but still haven't found one that works for me yet.  Maybe the regular V but too many new shoes coming out.

The VI didn't have that traction and perfect fit, I had to wipe after every trip to maintain good traction and the stability just wasn't there.  The V Elites were okay for traction, but the tongues slid down on me no matter what I did and the laces dug into my feet.  Neither shoe was a definite keeper to me.  Guess we'll see how the VII's come out.

Guessing you're a guard yes? Just curious since you have the XI up there...I've only seen bigs wear them around here

what do u consider a big?

Does the red cw signal more TB cw's? Hoping for the TB treatment on these and Crusaders.

As far as the ankle rolling issue goes, as long as these don't get "banned" a la the Hyperize, I'll trust them.

Tried my pair on tonight for the first time. I didn't realize how short the tongue is and how it's all one piece

Yea I'm a guard, usually split between 2 and 3. I bought the XI because of its looks, and turns out I like playing in it. I have the miami nights, and they feel light on my feet. I like te overall feel of them. BTW, I'm 5' 11" w/ shoes, 175-180ish and have no problems playing in the XI.

I guess these shoes have been forgotten about already haha. Such a shame, thread would have 100 pages by now if they called it the kyrie.

Any more comments about traction or durability? Seems like these are the only downfall.

Wore them on Saturday
I was slipping a bit
The floor was probably a bit dusty
Felt a little weird with the strap since i've been wearing low cut shoes for years now

Wore them on Today
And these felt AMAZING
Grip was amazing
Felt very comfortable, light, and reliable

I want to get another pair so i can have a pair to alternate to

I haven't had a chance to play in mine yet. Partly because I'm still unsure if I'll keep them. I probably will since I used a $80 gift card.
