Wasn't New York City More Grimey In The 80s & 90s In Constrast To Now

same reason Zimmerman and all the others haven't been touched.
rats aren't exclusive to ny and neither are ppl that are soft.

dudr said I can’t come to the Bronx though. Zimmerman would get a ticker tape parade, in the Bronx.

South bx is slowly transforming ....a billion africans everywhere & whites slowly doing they lenox ave pop ups (nowhere near as many as u see in harlem but thats how it started in harlem a few pop up then they got deep as time passed)

That is your opinion and you are entitled to that. However as someone who is amongst the younger brackets i beg to differ. Their is A LOT of true talent being bred in this city despite all of the transplants and change of scenery. Obviously it isn't completely new music genre's but the mixing of cultures and the blurring of lines between Fashion/Music/ Art etc etc are completely meshing pretty well right now.

Not to mention the intergration and inclusion that tech is having on culture blending alone.
 integration and inclusion? Do you even live in NYC or the Northeast for that matter? Segregation and classism is rampant

With as much of people’s mental capacity as it takes up, NY will never not be the greatest place on the face of the planet.

Seems nba stars are more in-tune to the optics of a teams perception and the fanbase.

I bet how the front office and fans treated melo and how dolan did Oakley, these star players with pull were turned off by that.

How the media and fans killed melo for not producing while playing with baby ankles stoudemire, raymond “tubby” felton, and 500 pound eddie curry, its a wonder they dont want to play here.

Late 80's to early 90's Brooklyn was a interesting place . There was a Macy's on Fulton , Church Ave and Kings Plaza . McDonald's sold birthday cakes and round apple pies . People were getting robbed at a high rate .

I remember one time waiting at the bus stop with my mom the take me to first grade . Some dust head ran up and pulled the bamboo earrings out of her ears.
